40 Strange located, not exactly easy to find, but that was soon forgotten as we sat down in the courtyard, we reached out for the menu on one of the free tables and ordered a beer each, sad to say the beers was totally off, light sour acidic, almost undrinkable, tried to get the bill several minutes before we finally was finished with this place,, not a recommendable place at all

48 Nice place with a pleasant beer garden in the courtyard. Attentive service when we came. Sadly their beers were awful! Slow service when we were ready to pay. Brewery- and place tick. (Visited October 11th 2019 with Gunnar) |
42 Lokal wyglada jak typowa pijalnia piwa. Kojarzy sie z Piwiarnia Warki.albo czyms podobnym. Miejsce do ogladania meczy a nie pub z rzemieslniczym piwem. Nie warto. |
78 Decent place with great service, well worth a visit. |
40 Just a little off the beaten path, but still easily walkable from the centre. 4 house beers on tap, served only in 400mL pours for 12 lei ($3 US), but staff are willing to let you sample the beers. Of the 4, 3 were not drinkable and the other was marginally drinkable. Friendly service. Not good beers, but if you’re looking for some Romanian ticks, may as well pop in. |
74 Tucked away behind blocks of the 1980s Centru Civic but announced by an electronic hoarding, this home-brew restaurant has a lot going for it. Spacious with murals (& 2 TVs). The 4 house beers are all unfiltered & cover a range of styles - none are hugely memorable but all are perfectly drinkable. The food includes Romanian dishes (including fine papanași) as well as Italian and a few Indian or Indian-inspired dishes. Prices for food are quite reasonable whilst the beers cost 10RON (€2+) for 400ml. A pleasant place for a relaxed
meal & beer with friends |
72 hurrah for ratebeer places, cos you certainly wouldn’t stumble across this place! Best beers I’ve had in Romania, though that doesn’t take much ;-) the four beers weren’t really my taste, but quite German in influence. The place itself is nice, I particularly liked the vaulted cellar. The food is good, especially by Romanian standards |
84 Quiet evening due to snow. Brewery tour & associated story produced, but you can feel the passion that the Indian couple have for their venture. Beer is of excellent quality & although not all entirely to my taste you can actually TASTE something...a first for Romanian beer in my books! Food was superb, prices well within the expected budget for the country (53 RON for soup, sausages, potatoes & roasted veg). Beer available during my visit was Whitie (wheat), Blondie (pils), Rosie (red) & Blackie (dark). Located in a bit of a back street but well worth hunting down. |
74 Nice place, three floors, 2 reserved for parties. Came for the beer, all available. Tried to take some pictures of the brewing equipment when spotted by Anita, one half of the Indian couple who own, Market, and initially conceived the brewpub. Beers where really good, not much difference between the wit and the blonde but the schwarzbier, even though it’s not my style was very good. Anita was very kind to offer us an impromptu tour, explaining the importance of local ingredients and everything being made from scratch. She also explained the torturous journey to finally receive the brewing licence they had applied for in 2009, (confirmed 2014). Only let down was that her husband would not sell me a branded glass. When it comes to marketing, listen to Dylan, cos everybody knows she’s the brains behind Pa. |
62 Nice large place. Good service. Food nothing special. I have visited twice. First time was summer and none of their beer. Second time was Christmas, they had all 3 of them. |
