Bestway

This place is a Mecca for beer lovers, not the Budweiser, Miller, Coors type, but really good beer. From memory, I would say that half of their selection is dedicated to the domestic craft market with lots of NC locals. The other half is top quality imports with an emphasis on Belgians. The beer buyers, Kristion and Josh, are knowledgeable and helpful and know their stuff. Great all around place and nice selection of local seafood, meats & cheeses, chocolates and other grocery items.

Bestway is a full service grocery store and bottle shop with a growler station. Their selection is incredible, and their staff is very knowledgeable. Their tapped selections in the growler station are constantly changing and always of the best quality. Not only is their American craft section formidable, but their import selection is a sight to behold. So many delicious beers from every corner of the world in a comfortable and friendly environment.

This used to be the best place to buy beer. Too bat they went completely downhill. They do not care about your business. They do not care about you. All they want to do is quote a "store policy" The "manager" told me on the phone that they have the right to refuse to sell beer to anybody. I have the right to refuse to buy it. I will never buy another thing from this store. No apologies for a problem. No offers to help take care of it. You lost a customer and a lot of business today. The worst customer service imaginable.

Plenty of parking on a side lot. Worn grocery store. Service was pretty good. Very good big-bottle selection. They have some small-format bottles, but they won’t break up six-packs. Would have bought about four more bottles. Prices were very good.

The last place I would of guessed or picked to go for great craft beer. I was sooooo wrong. This ’been around the block’ grocery store that probably sold to groceries to Aunt B in Mayberry, has a phenomenal selection of craft beers, from local to imported. The prices are hard to beat as well. Lady in there was very helpful and very knowledgeable. Wished they had this place when I was a student at UNCG!!!

Bestway sets the bar for quality craft beer service establishments. Roger and Leslie go out of their way to serve their customers and it shows in everything they do. I make the 30 minute drive on a regular basis and will continue to becuase it is always worth it. Cheers to Bestway!!

grocery that was pretty convenient to the airport. open coolers with big selection of local ,US and imports,growlers, etc. the only negative is lack of singles, definitely worth a stop

OK, you know this is a special place when five different customers are taking pictures of the beers. The open supermarket-style beer cooler is about a city block long, running the whole length of the building. Local stuff is up front, much of it in growlers, mini-growlers and hand bottles. Very solid and well chosen European selection toward the end of the row. An amazing place. Oh, and on the way out I noticed that it’s also a grocery store!

Walked in to a grocery store thinking I had the wrong place. Then looked to the left and saw more beer bottles than I’ve seen in one place in awhile! An entire aisle of beer. Best part, almost all of the beer is in coolers, and the coolers keep the rest of the aisle cold so that even the bottles in the middle displays of the aisle are cold. Awesome way to keep beer! Huge selection. Lowest prices I saw in NC.
