78 Fridges full of cold beer and growlers from tap. This (small) place reminds me of my trips to the US. Very good selection. Beergeeky atmosphere with the staff talking beer and offering us a sample of a neat BFM beer they were enjoying. Will revisit when walking from Foeders to Brecht for example. |
78 Small-ish shop with all beers refridgerated, except some special focus ones on a table. Decent beer selection, nothing too crazy. The best thing here are the ciders which are hard to get elsewhere, at least I havent seen them around, and most of the ones they had were not added to the Ratebeer database yet.
OK service and prices were not too bad, especially for the more expensive bottles. |
80 About half a dozen of fridges with beer. Located in De Pijp. Good selection of Dutch and few international beers. Friendly service. Found plenty of good cans so good selection. Prices were bit steep but yeah popular area in Amsterdam figures. |
72 A small shop around the corner from Helst with a mix of local and internation bottles, as well as growler fills. An interesting enough selection that'll offer up something new and intesting. Worth a visit if you're going to Helst at least. |
76 A well-stocked bottle shop on the other side of the northwest edge of the Sarphatipark, close to and also connected to Helst beer bar. Good section of Dutch beers. Has got growler fill options. Scottish hospitality (from Kirkcaldy) offering knowledgeable recommendations. (Visited with Leif 11.03.2018). |
78 Just around the corner from the Watering Hole (and owned by the same people if I understood correctly). A rather small, but well-organized place with many locals and internationals as well as, behold, both Cidre & Poiré from the Bretagne and some Sidra from Asturias that all are quite unknown on RB. Some prices can be steep, but all in all, it's a nice shop! |
68 Just around the corner of The Wateringhole. Apparently same owners. Solid selection of beers, nice mix of local stuff with some international goodies although some prices were a bit steep imo. Then again, in Amsterdam...Probably reasonable but too expensive for me anyway. Worth a quick visit when you're at the wateringhole. |
70 Short visit on Sunday afternoon. Just around the corner from Wateringhole (same owners). Small shop with a wall of fridges filled with chilled beers from all over. Great selection. Prices were relatively high IIRC. 4 Growler taps. Good to see Andy from the former Cracked Kettle here back in his natural habitat. Nice place to get some chilled beers to go and enjoy in the park. |
