86 Visited 4/3/2020. I drowned my sorrows here after finding La Cave à Bulles had closed. True it’s not as good, but was a very worthy place to visit and benefits from a drink-in licence and is situated in a much more inviting location - both of which detracted from the Cave experience. There are 2 walls full of beers, on one, Belgian and other countries, on the other French micros plus a small and slightly eclectic selection from UK. Plus one full fridge. Service was great. Was warmly welcomed when I came in and immediately offered assistance in selecting beers which I initially declined but then when I asked for help to run through all the different breweries they had they were only too pleased to help me identify the French breweries I’d not had before (found about 12) and then help me decide which one to have from each. We shared a few there, and also had a couple from tap which were quality. Place is quite compact, seating for around 10 people inside plus some seating outside for when the weather was better than it was today! |
64 Near by La Cave a Bulles, but not nearly as good. Small beer store, wood, a bit dusty, main focus on Classic belgians but also some french micros. Okies service, prices maybe a little high. |
76 He estado algunas veces en este lugar. La verdad lo encuentro agradable. La selección de cervezas podría ser un poco mejor. Al nivel del servicio, no tengo que quejarme pero sé siempre lo que yo compro. |
50 Popped in on my way to Cave a Bulles while doing some shopping. 4.50 euro for bottle from Biere cultes so prices a bit high. The guy was a bit curt and condescending I felt but the selection while not so wide was interesting. Ok but not a must visit and if I lived here and I got that kind of service a second time around I wouldn’t go back. Much better shops in the area. |
72 Visited in 2012, alternative to nearby La Cave a Bulles which was closed. Good choice of Belgian beers, also Brewdog, some US beers (Flying Dog, Anchor). Not bad. Prices were bit highish. |
70 Un bon endroit pour acheter des bières sur Paris. |
62 Small beers shop with a small but decent selection of beers (Belgian, American, British, Italian...). Rather friendly sellers, but not as knowledgable as Simon from La Cave à Bulles (not too far from there) or Guillaume from La Moustache Blanche. Many price tags are missing. |
62 Located in the heat of (tourist) Paris, it is very much appreciated that this (now becoming a chain of ) beer shop(s) is even here. And the selection has improved too, with more French micros than I’ve seen before at a Bières Cultes, such as Sainte Crucienne. However, its biggest problem is not even the somewhat stale selection or even the expectedly high prices -- it’s that La Cave à Bulles is 5-10 minutes away and this makes it very easy for the real beer nerd. |
