90 Huge liquor store just across the Goose Island brewpub. They have 15 or so fridges and rows of shelves filled with beer. There has to be couple of thousand beers there. Plenty of different breweries and styles, but also a good selection of meads and ciders. On draw would be that most of the beer is not refrigerated. Was a bit disappointed they did not have any BCBS. Other than that great store. |

76 7/2/18 - Larger than average Binny's, home of the annual Goose Island Bourbon County release. Very good beer sales on a regular basis, haven't been to a tasting but this location has several throughout the year. Across from the Goose Island brewpub, convenient for to go purchases after hitting the pub. Overall good store for very good beer selection and pricing. |

92 Ok. Need to come back to this one, now that I've moved to Chicago. This place is absolutely MASSIVE. This may be the biggest booze barn I've ever been to. If you walk for half a mile inside, you'll eventually get to a tasting room, with usually good stuff on tap. While the majority of the place is wine, there's a HUGE beer selection as well. And in 2018, there isn't a place where you're more likely to find something rare than here. In one visit, I picked up Sucaba, XXI, Big Bad Baptista and Triple Barrel Baptist, while passing on a ton of stuff from Hoppin Frog, Deschutes, Bruery, FFF, etc etc etc... you'd have to be incredibly jaded or picky not to be impressed with the selection here. |
88 Absolutely monstrous place. Thankfully with its own parking lot. Several aisles of beer, another chock full of cider and mead, excellent sake selection. The breadth and quality are huge here. Prices are solid. Customer service was excellent for this type of store. As with all Binny's I've been to, you can't get a single of whatever you want, but there are plenty available. Massive bar at the end of the place, with an excellent draft selection including rarities. I would have had a flight, but I was a dumbass and timed this visit so I'd be leaving Chicago about 4PM. Took me over 2 hours to get to Milwaukee. Oops. Overall a world class bottle shop. |
86 Huge cavernous booze shop, several aisles of beer plus pretty much all other types of alcohol - there’s a lot of wine in there. I’m not an expert on the local beer scene so it all looked good, although I felt maybe they were missing some of the very best stuff. But kind of hard to knock a selection like this in a physical store. |
76 A large brewage shop with a huge craft beer selection however primary American but with not much more to tell. |

90 Huge store, maybe the largest selection in the world, though its gone down a bit recently. Mix 6 is always stocked but i rarely find new stuff but that’s me. Prices are good, theres a taproom in it though no samples are offered (even though it would be a good idea since you now people can try something then pick up a bottle if they like it) |
