Birrifugio Trastevere

Classic pub with wooden interior. Quite dark and seemed like it use some refurbishment. Seemed to be quite popular with the locals. 9 taps with some Buxton beers, Beersalis Tripel. one Italian micro and rest of the lot were German micros. One fridge with around 30 beers, mostly usual classic craft beers. I guess it's worth checking out if you're doing some bar hopping in southern Trastevere.

I really wanted to like this place more, but either both tap beers I had were bad or the beer lines are seriously dirty. While I have never experienced isovaleric in a Pils, it can happen. Otherwise, the food is good and service excellent.

Is it really two years since someone was here? Well the Birra del Borgo coasters aside, this is a decent beer bar, Italians by Oxiana, Belgians by Lupulus, Boon and Orval, cask ale by Redchurch and bottles by whatever. Overall range the same numbers but probably better quality than 2016. Brown and orange Ansells 1980 decor but likeable enough. Friendly peeps. Very pubby.

It’s not just a place in the road to someone else.. This is realy nice place with a great service. Thay will answer on any question about beer and Rome on perfect English.. Cozy atmosphere and great music.. My recomenation is "Birranova Linfa", APA beer style..

Nice cozy small bar that you find on your way heading to Brasserie 4:20 from the tram stop Trastevere/Pascarella. Nice ambiance, beer selection is OK, good service.

A nice little pub in Travestere, quite near 4:20. A very nice experience after awful customer service at 4:20. The girl behind the bar was so kind and hard working! The beer selection was of high quality and well chosen but not the biggest in the city.
***A couple of their own "Birra Oxiana" beers, one in tap, on in pump. A wit and an APA, both nice.***

Nice place but nothing special for beer geeks. English-german beer pub style. 9 beers on taps. Just one IPA/IIPA. Nice and helpful service.

Visited here early evening on Saturday 21/06/13 - may stag weekend in Roma! It’s about a 5 minute walk from Brasserie 420, off the main Via Trastevere. Smallish bar and we were the only people in there during our brief stop at about 7.30pm. We got chatting to the friendly bar keep who knew his stuff. 9 taps, didn’t really explore the bottled stuff but picked up a few IT ticks I’d not seen in other places around town this weekend. A few solid English beers on tap from Buxton and Thornbridge so I’d imagine this is a better stop for local or non UK folks! Not a destination venue but if you are heading to 420 you can easily take this decent enough bar in.

Good selection. A bit overpriced. But Worth a visit.
