BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse - Gainesville (FL)

The house brews were very good indeed, the food was great and the service exceptional.

Visited here in mid September ’15 on my home from a business trip. Nice decor, very roomy with high ceilings and a few TVs placed around the rooms and a huge 4 in 1 screen behind the bar. Have about 8 of their rotating beers on tap with 3 seasonal and a few regionals such as Cigar City and Terrapin. Huge menu with pizzas, burgers, salads, steaks, seafood - you name it. Service was superb, professional and friendly. I like a place where the waiters and waitresses wear somewhat of a uniform - yeah, I’m old fashioned, Like all other BJ’s I have been to - pretty solid - you know what you are going to get.

Stopped off here on a Sunday traveling to Orlando from Tallahassee, with not many other beer related choices that carry food. Not far off from I75, which makes it convenient. Location is very spacious and seperate from the Oaks Mall. Selection was much like other locations with their normal line of beers, plus 2 seasonals. Staff was very helpful and could speak about the beer. Food was alright, but pricy for the portions. I will probably stop again since it is a convenient choice not far off the highway for food and beer.
