70 Visited on 3/18/2017. This was the 1st stop in a brewery hop with HuskerTan, MetalNhophead, and my buddy Adrien. Very cool history of this place that was stated in the review right before mine. I thought the food was above average. The entire group enjoyed their lunch. They had 12 draft and some bottles and cans to go. I would return because it was a great spot to grab lunch. Beers themselves are average with one standout. |
66 Visited over Memorial Day weekend. Apparently they just opened up at this new location on Robber Cave Rd in the last month or so. Pretty nice sized taproom/brewpub located right next to a grain elevator. According to the waitress, there are caves underneath the building from a brewery in the early 1900s, and they’ll start offering tours of the caves soon. 11 beers on tap and 1 cider. 6-beer sampler trays available. Beer quality was quite bad. Only 1 average beer, the rest were below average. Most weren’t awful, they were just weak or bland or off flavored. While the location/atmosphere wasn’t too bad, don’t waste your time on this place unless the beer gets substantially better. Worst of the 4 breweries we visited in Lincoln. |
66 A very small place that has just enough seating crammed into next where they brew. The food menu is basically one item per day and they just grill it as you order it. Smells horrible in there and very bad location and industrial feel but worth checking out when in town. |
70 found this place while in licoln nice little place had 4 beers they were pretty normal servicer was pleasent and nice will stop back in if i get to lincoln |
78 I stopped here on a Friday afternoon. Big open warehouse location outside of town with a tiny taproom area in the front corner. Greatful Dead, The Band, Widespread Panc, etc was playing on the radio, so the ambiance gets a bump from me. Kind of odd for a place run by ex-cops. Anyways, they had 7-8 beers on tap and 2-3 others beers available to go. Tasters were only $1, free pretzels to boot. Some of their beers were quite good, I enjoyed the DIPA, ESB and Pale the most. Friendly service too, this place has potential, definitely worth checking out. |
76 Great place to stop by and have a drink or fill a growler. Staff is always very friendly and more than happy to answer questions. Hours could be a lot better and that’s my big gripe about it. |
