Boatyard Brewing Co.

Nice little brewery. Live Irish music while we were there. Free, very salty popcorn. Got a flight of 6 beers but soon found out that the bartender mixed up a few of the beers so he gave me another flight. The beers are average at best.

Smaller brew pub in Kalamazoo. They have some excellent brews and usually have a good selection on tap. No food but often a food truck in the parking lot. You can get some of their brews in cans in area stores but only the brew pub has the full selection.

Boatyard is located on the North side of town. They are still a pretty young brewery, but I would say that they are worth checking out. They do not have food, but they do have popcorn that is available. The place is set up really nicely and follows the boatyard theme. The staff is very friendly and pretty knowledgable as well. They don’t have a ton on draft at any one point in time, but the beer quality is above average. The pricing is maybe just a bit better than average, but they also offer a type of mug club kind of thing which would be very beneficial if you plan to make this place a regular stop.
