Very unique atmosphere. Good beer fun times.

Visited on a Tuesday evening with a group of three. It's located in the downstairs of the courthouse? A bit of a speakeasy vibe. Once inside it is pretty dark, but spacious. Lots of small tables and regular sized booths around. We ordered a five sample size beers. All of them were loaded with adjuncts, but they were pretty good for the most part. A bit expensive. Service was decent.

Very nice new brewery. Described themselves as the homebrewer’s brewery of Lincoln because of the close relationship they have with some of the better brewers in the city. Great ambiance, friendly staff, and a good selection of their own brews. Visited with Jess in 2017.

Awesome atmosphere. Love the speakeasy kind of vibe. A bit crowded and loud but that shouldn’t keep you away. The beers are all solid but overpriced. No actual flights. 4 oz pours that are $3-5 each. Way too pricey. And random beers, including a few core beers are only offered in 16 oz pints. Doesn’t make sense. Not a fan of their business point of view and I’ve heard mixed reactions on service (mine was good), but overall decent. A few changes to pricing and servings would maybe make this the best brewery in Lincoln.

Visited over Memorial Day weekend. Cool, small taproom located in the basement of an old downtown building. Cool, atmosphere - dark, brickwalls, reminded me of a sort of speakeasy atmosphere. Approximately 16 beers on tap. Of those, around 5 or 6 were fruit beers that used the same blonde ale base, but varied the fruit. I wasn’t a fan of these fruit beers, but outside of those, I thought this place had probably the best (or 2nd best) across-the-board quality of the 4 breweries that I visited in Lincoln. Overall cool place, that I’d definitely come back to if I visit Lincoln again.

One downside that I saw to this place was the pricing on the small pours. All beers, except for one, were available in 4 oz pours for $2 - $3.50. Now, this can be nice if you only want to try a couple beers. But if you want to sample the full selection of 16 beers, you end up paying drastically higher prices than most places for their beer flights. On top of this, after paying $42 for 15 beers, we realized that we missed 1 beer (light lager) and asked the bartender if we could try a splash. After the 2 bartenders conferred, they said that they couldn’t offer us a free splash, we’d have to buy a pint. Kind of a dick move considering we had spent over $40 buying small samples of everything else. With that complaint aside, I still enjoyed Boiler, and would recommend others visiting.
