68 Out in the wine country middle of wine country. Picturesque with the pond. Not very busy when there but decent service. Had a single one off on tap when there. A single hop pale ale. Disappointing. Otherwise rest of the range is pretty meh. Huge amount of merchandise. A bit on the pricy side but it is Margaret River. |
62 Decent place in the middle of Aussie wine country, although seemed a tad pricey and beer just average. At least they served up something other than lagers, which rule in SW Australia. |
72 Oldest local brewery worth visiting. They have started doing more "one offs" to go with a solid group of regular beers. Menu wasn’t the best in the area but still solid. Nice setting, Only downside is that its not the easiest to travel to. |
80 Drove down after my quiet weekend away in Baghdad. The boys down here know their shit. That fuckin’ IPA. Smells like an open wound. Jesus Christ, I’ve just been shot. Ah, just Hans and his little sleepover club. Turn it up. Call in the cavalry with my 2 way and blast the girls brigade out of the bushes. Run away in their little fucking tutu’s. That fuckin’ IPA. Put hairs on your fuckin’ chest, I tell ya. |
82 Well worth a visit. Great back yard area overlooking a nice lake. Perfect for Summer. Service is always perfect and the guys running it are great blokes too. Selection is great, they always have their one off’s pouring which is nice. Good set up. Will be back |
64 Visited April 2013, primarily for the food. Very busy on a Friday lunchtime, with the staff working flat out. Pleasant surroundings with a lake and large outside seating area. I tried the wheat beer and cider, which were both fine, and the platter of local produce was tasty. Good. |
80 A great place to drink good beer within a lovely setting. |
72 Great place to chill out and grab a cheeky pint..Beautiful surrounding..Nice beer |
62 Came here and tried the sampler. Half of the beers on that plate were instantly forgettable. True to style and all, but just.. unnecessary.
The place itself is really nice, set out in the countryside by a pond. You can see in to the brewery were they guys were busy brewing away.
Of all the beers I tried only Settlers Pale Ale was worth the trip. But on the other hand, Settlers was friggin amazing! |
56 A nice big open field out the back and plenty of seating, they usually have a band on weekends so not a bad place to sit back and enjoy a beer and have a meal. |
