Visited late March 2019 while visiting a friend. He took me on a little mini-tour of breweries in the area. This was a neat place! We stopped in for a flight or two and lunch as I recall. Fun place - goofy, lots of goofy, fun art outside and on the walls, etc. Sort of a hipster vibe. Good food for lunch as I recall and the beers ranged from average to quite good. I don't remember being blown away, but nothing was terrible, and lately, I'll take that! I'd come back if I were in the area again!

Visited this past week and had a great time. A ton of taps, mostly their own, were available. Flights were an option and taken advantage of by me. Great service and cool vibe to the place. Would stop by again.

Finally a real pub in DFW with high quality beer. This is a must stop. Fun location with outdoor seating. All their beers to go in pre made crowlers and bottles. HUGE selection of drafts, at least 25 of their beers plus a bunch of guest. Actually hazy in Texas that tastes good. Some nice barrel aged beers too. Must visit.

Beers good, food is very good, staff is a collection of serious hipsters as is most of the clientele. Nice place with a lot of things on tap in the safe part of Deep Ellum.

UPDATE: revisited in September 2016, they have 9 of their own beers on now, along with the same solid list of guests.

Visited after work on a Wednesday. Street parking out front, easy to find in Deep Ellum. Big, sprawling place with a huge front patio, and a bunch of seating indoors and at the bar. All of the windows were open on a lovely spring day, and there was a fun, noisy crowd. The first thing I saw was a large sign stating there would be no house beer until May. The brewing equipment is installed, and looks ready to go. No worries, there were 27 guest taps that were a decent selection of local and national, all craft. Service was plentiful and efficient. Date of last line clean was listed on chalkboard, nice touch.

76 = ★★★ (Worth the visit, must for locals, and visitors with time)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.

Came here on 1.5.2016. Another great beer place in Deep Ellum. Love the decoration, a mix of industrial art and modern graffiti, also great outdoor patio. Good selection of beers, several guest beers, a lot from Ballast Point. Their own beers are also quite good, had the Frühlingszeit, an Alt style and a Kölsch. One of my 3 favorite beer places in town: Deep Ellum #1 as best location, Four Corners #2 as best beers and BrainDead #3 as best combination of both.

finally got to visit this place. parking is a bit of a pain on a friday, but i’ve walked by during the week and parking was good. it was packed, but service was still prompt and the selection was pretty solid. had their export stout and bought a jester king bottle to drink there. bar staff were knowledgeable of all the house beers as well as the other beers on the wall. they were familiar with the menu and had great food pairing ideas. definitely need to come back, not on a friday night.

Newer place in Deep Ellum...with a great vibe...really nice outside area...nice staff (I didn’t have any problems like the previous rater...might have just hit it right)...some great décor items on the walls...and a very strong beer list. The beer list does need to be explained though...as they offer a decent selection of their own beers...but a larger than typical guest tap list. I enjoyed the combination...just found it a little unusual for a new brewery trying to build their business with such a large amount of guest taps...a few are fine...and a nice touch...not sure this many makes sense though. I recommend a visit here nonetheless...as it’s really a great place...and you can hit nearby Deep Ellum Brewery too.

Visited here in late June ’15 while in the area for business. New brewpub in a funky part of downtown Dallas called Deep Ellum. Open aired, retro-industrial feel to the place. Have about a half dozen of their own on tap, the two I had were pretty solid. Have about 20 others on tap and they run the spectrum from local Texas craft to rare sours. Have some bottles as well and wine as well. Food is pretty solid - I had the Coma Burger - best burger I have had in a while. Why the 1 for service? The head bartender completely ignored me the entire time I was there - literally - would not even look at me. Had to flag down a few barbacks to take my orders. The head bartender was too busy schmoozing with more interesting people and giving them free beers and letting them sample some rare sours than a 51 year old conservatively dressed bald guy. I purposefully asked him where the bathroom was before I left just so he would have to stoop to my level and actually speak to me.
