Warehouse style brewery...nothing special about the design or décor...not to say the place doesn’t have a good vibe...it does...any place with good beers generally does and Breakside is no exception....great beers bring out the best in craftbeer fans who then make their own atmosphere. There were 23 beers the day I visited...and I tried several over a few flights. I worked my way thru the hoppy beers to the sours and finished with some darker ones. I found the beers to range between at least good on up to very good...nothing bad here. You’ll notice over the line of 23 taps at least double that count in beer award medals hanging from the wall...very impressive. Breakside is a very successful and improving/growing craftbeer business (actually several locations) in the Portland area and their beers are showing up everywhere...I recommend you head to the source.

It’s a tap room in the business park building where they do most of their brewing-what can you expect for ambiance, but a big open space and the barrel tables are just big enough to hold a sampler board; the beer tender super friendly, knowledgeable and all over the place. 16 or so beers on tap, all theres, and quite a range--IPAs, sours, smoked, aged. And they do most of them very well.

Big warehouse production brewery. Not terribly exciting, but they do have a lot of beer here, some barrels, and a big bar as well as some other seating areas.

Man, this was kind of a rough stop. They had 24 beers on tap, and of course we had to try them all. I preferred their core lineup for the most part, but some of the seasonals and specials were good as well. Solid hoppy beers, certainly.

The service was pretty good. Though the lady working the bar didn’t seem to quite understand that the group of four of us was seriously interested in order 24 taster pours. But, we got there eventually.

Pretty good beers, a laid back location, good pricing...worth a visit. That said, it’s outside the city, so you may find it easier to go to the Portland brewpub location.

A large garage warehouse like feel with a long bar. Much less crowded than their other location. Service was great with lots of knowledge and very friendly. Selection was good with a large amount of taps. Prices were good as well. It’s a bit out of the way, but a nice stop. Helps that the beer is pretty good as well.

This location is a little out of the way, but it’s a very nice setup, feeling very industrial, with very little separation between the brewery and bar. Tons of beers on tap, of varying quality and ambition. Staff were very friendly and generous with the pours. I wouldn’t say this is worth a special trip out to, but if you’re headed this way, its definitely worthwhile.

RBSG stop. The tap room in located in the brewery. Some seating with barrels as tables. A nice big bar with a big tap list of house beers. A small cooler with beers togo and some swag. Great stop.

I finally fulfilled my mission to make it to this place. Which is actually a touch sad since it’s a 12 minute back roads journey from my house. It’s a big open warehouse space that reminds me quite a bit of Lost Abbey. The tables are made from barrels, which is annoying to write in, but nice to look at. There’s a long bar, and 25 taps - so you aren’t going to run out of interesting items any time soon. There are at least 5 rare drafts, as well, and that’s a nice perk. Server was knowledgeable and attentive. The prices here also pretty good. It’s a must visit for the ticker.

Nice tap room in the production brewery with a pretty amazing line up when I was in there. 4-5 BA beers and 3-4 sours along with a bunch of interesting stuff to go with their standards. Sample sizes so you can try a few, good prices and excellent service. A bit out of town but worth the trek.

Holy moly. 25 beers on tap. Huge warehouse, no food but literally a bag of chips! Great service. And the beer...I mean, we are all about that. Wonderful. Maybe the best selection of any brewpub in PDX. Huge bar. Oddly, it rains in there. Inside I mean! Anyway, wonderful place.

Super place. This was a true awesome place to stop. Terrific beers and tons of them available you will never see other than at the brewery. Loved the chips and Salsa. They give you a bag of chips and a container of salsa. Have at it
