Brewberry Bar

Visited around 11pm on a Thursday evening and they decided to close an hour early. Unapologetic about it - seems that’s an acceptable business practice here. Taplist was okay, with lots of non-French European and US stuff that is not so interesting to me, especially for the high prices. Underwhelming considering its ratings and compared to other top spots in Paris.

Solid. Less heavy on French craft (they have a few) and heavier on beer from America and elsewhere around Europe than other places you'll find in Paris. Not really what I usually look for coming over to Europe but some solid stuff there I haven't seen before from Europe so sourcing seemed to be thoughtful. Would repeat.

Changement de propriétaire.... Si les 20 becs sont toujours en place, seuls 12 fonctionnent et le choux est restreint... Jenlain, vedett Ipa... Franchement une très grande déception. J'ai pris une Brooklyn east Ipa à 10€...wouah ça pique...

Was there in the end of November. The tap list was half empty, but tried some Catillion and Prairie Ales. They have kitchen but in Sunday they have only snack, Snack were ok. If buy a bottle in the bottleshop infront of the bar, you can drink it in the bar.

Le bar en lui-même ne paie pas de mine. Déco assez classique mêlant un lieu pas tout jeune décoré avec des affiches ou autre élément aux couleurs de brasseries. Ce n'est pas particulièrement chaleureux et ça ne donne pas spécialement envie d'y rester des plombes. La sélection est vaste du haut de ses 24 becs avec de l'international et du national, à chaque fois avec des beaux noms issus du monde craft. Les prix sont hélas assez élevés... Pour limiter les dégâts pécuniers, il est appréciable de pouvoir déguster toutes les bières en 12,5cl (en plus de 25 ou 50cl). Les quelques plats proposés semblent mettre la bière à l'honneur. Pas goûté mais de visu ça avait l'air sympa. Bref, du bon et du moins bon.

Visited Saturday 3/10/2018 Took some friends there as it was the best rated place close to where I went for dinner. Quite good and varied selection, with some interesting imports as well. The prices for imported beers are outrageous, the french craft are quite ok. The service is mostly uninterested but ok. The reason of the bad review is that I saw the barman overflow a glass with beer and then put back the beer from the dripping bucket into my glass. I refrained to comment as I was with company and actually did not know what to do at the time (should just have left). This behavior is unacceptable, specially to save 2cl of beer. I never saw something like it, and I have visited my share of dive bars. I urge the other patrons to keep an eye on the barman as he is serving your drink.

Friendly, English speaking staff. Wide selection of high quality craft beer, 20+ taps (including one mead). Nice seatings outside, a bit cafeteria-ish inside. Expensive, close to €7 for a 0.125 cl glass of Imperial Stout.
