Très bon moment, bières excellentes

Endroit fort agréable. Belle ambiance brasserie avec un personnel sympathique. 3ème fois que nous allons avec des amis. Leur bière Triple est fameuse. Très bonne nourriture servie, restauration type brasserie. Prix corrects

Very good place with nice selection of brews.

Visited May 1st, 2013 on the way back from Arden BrewFest. The place confirms my view of Br. des Fagnes that their beers are just average but compensated by hordes of tourists visiting the place. As I arrived I noticed three tour buses loaded with tourists and a parking space packed, and I knew this would not be the typical sit and enjoy type of brewery. Outside was packed as was inside. The waiters looked just lost with no assigned section, thus leaving some areas unattended for a good while and it took me about 20 min to flag a waiter and finally get a beer. This just about ruined my experience. Sad when you add a superb surrounding of the Fagnes region with a brewery that has a nice local beer museum inside. Beers were cheap but not memorable, their whole beer menu available. They serve the brewer’s selection which rotates and is only found on location. The one I had was supposed to be a Rodenbach type but a miserable failure at cloning the latter. Could have been a nicer experience had it not been so crowded and if the service was better. As for me, the whole visit felt like being in ’barraki land’ (my Wallonian friends will understand). In no rush to go back, or maybe I picked the wrong day to stop by.

Nice place to make a quick stop, but not really worth a detour. We got there because we had a flat tire 1k away from the place when we were on our way from Chimay to Rochefort :p Very friendly people, good service, selection is mainly the Super de Fagnes beers, also tasters possible.

Really liked this place

A really neat place, it’s a windmill meets brewery meets museum meets restaurant. The menu is small but fine we enjoyed the pizza and crepes. The beer is not for me except for the Brune. Service was very good. This is despite the eccentricity

Really liked this place. Certainly a bit different. Bit off the main road. The nice bus driver dropped us off off mid stop but we had to get a taxi back. We tried all the beers via a tasting tray and sat beside the coppers. Recommended as a step away from the ordinary, smokey Belguim bar.

We are here last saterday, just @ 13.30 hour. Meany people here. This is a homebrewery and a big taverne toghether. We take on the great terras, a little food meal. It was very good, friendy and fast. Beers on tap @ the moment just 2 extra surpices: beer of the brewer, beer of the week (framboise). We come back here. recommended !
