Visited here in late July '18 on a Saturday afternoon during a quick NYC vacation. Located a few blocks from the Cypress Ave station on the 6 line. Located in an industrial area in an old converted warehouse it appears. Clean, industrial modern look inside with a few high top tables and a few bar stools. The brewing area is open as well with a few tables located there as well. Have about 8 or so of their own on tap, moderately priced for NYC and cans and growlers are available. Above average in quality, but was not crazy about the plastic glasses. Friendly young, diverse crowd, servers attentive and friendly. Glad we stopped by.

The Bronx Brewery is located on East 136th Street between Willow and Walnut not too far off I-278 and near the East River. There is no parking lot but street parking is available in the neighborhood.

The brewery is in a large brick warehouse painted black. The inside opens into the tasting room with a small bar and a few barrel tables with Oktoberfest-style tablemats. INdustiral look with white painted brick and pipes. There is a chalkboard at the end of the bar listing what is on draft and in bottles/cans.

Bronx Brewery has around 6-8 beers on tap in the tasting room. On my visit it included several Pale Ales (including Rye, Autumn etc), Gin Barrel Aged Belgian Ale and Red Zinfandel Barrel Aged Pale Ale . Samplers are available, and the beers were generally solid.

Service at the bar on a slow Sunday and during the brewery tour was engaging and knowledgeable.

The brewery does not serve food.

Overall this is a worthwhile brewery to check out for visitors to the city.

The Bronx Brewery should be your next NYC stop if you’ve not yet been here. It’s in a really cool little corner of The Bronx...everybody goes past here...but nobody would have otherwise stopped here...that all changes now. Very cool taproom and fantastic staff. We got a personal tour on a Sunday evening...climbed all over all the equipment...talked to the staff...had a great time. Best part...the beer...this place is making some really great beer! 9-10 when we visited recently. The IPA, APA, & Rye Ale were very good. I loved the Sticky Rye and the Uptown Coffee Stout too...but the one that blew me away was the Barrel Aged Belgium...aged in gin barrels! This beer was spectacular...and worth going for alone. See my IG account for pictures. This is now a must visit in NYC...include with a tour of The Bronx Beer Hall, and Gun Hill Brewery.

First brewery on 5 Boro Brew Tour 2015. Nice clean decent sized brewery. Tasting room has small bar with a few cafe tables and decorated with subway tiles. Dig the decor and staff was friendly and gave us a tour they have nice canning line. There were 6 drafts and you can buy cans to go. Back patio has corn hole and picnic tables.
