72 As prior reviewer noted, this is in the middle of nowhere (I was pretty sure Google Maps was taking me somewhere to dump my body in a pond). Once there, the space is nice - some outdoor space, spacious indoors, just the right amount of light. Beer was decent. Nothing spectacular, nothing actively bad. Stouts were a bit thin, lagers clean but a little uninteresting. I would not go out of your way to go here, but if you wind up here, it's a fine place (and their logo is pretty cool). |
84 This is probably the most difficult brewery to find in Castle Rock. It's deep within a warehouse complex. They've done well with their space and there were a decent amount of drinkers here even on a Monday afternoon. It definitely feels like Castle Rock in here with American flag logos and classic rock aplenty. The interior is clean and slick though. Service was very friendly. The tap list spanned a good variety of styles and what we had was solid. The brewery scene has exploded in this little town and it seems that the newcomers are doing it right. |
