80 Almost a neighborhood bar with street parking available. Kind of old school feel to it, but definitely a solid tap list. Good service. I was one and done at that point in the evening, but I can see hanging out here as a local. |
86 Nice place; seating is a little tight with booths along one wall and tables along the other; there is a small bar area in the front right corner; plenty of local crafts on tap with some national ones mixed in; service was very friendly and helpful; food was delicious; I would go here again |
88 A smallish beer bar on the south side of Minneapolis. Small bar with a decent amount of seating throughout the building. Staff was friendly and happy to talk about beer. A great selection on the taps with a good mix of locals and non-locals. Flights available. Did not try the food on my visit. Prices were inline with the area. A great bar! |
94 #1 in my heart, especially now that I live close. Outstanding tap list, and because it gets changed out as much as it does, it makes this place awesome. Whoever runs the bar does it right because I try to get to Buster’s once a week just to see the new stuff on tap.
Food is also excellent. I try to change it up when I actually go to eat, and have not been disappointed yet. I would highly recommend the Elian Gonzalez, it is outstanding.
Phenomenal place. 1luv |
70 I wasn’t always a huge fan of Busters but its in the neigborhood and I find myself there often. They have lots of beer events and get lots of nice kegs. Although they don’t always have the most interesting selections. They have pretty good food but for the most part Busters is on the more expensive side. Service isn’t always great either. Mixed feeling here really. |
84 Just got back from this place. It was really very impressive! Very cozy feel (read: somewhat crowded) with plenty of dark wood finishes. We lucked out on getting a booth way in the back so the crowd was a non-issue. Very well-chosen tap selection, even if it’s not advertised, you will definitely find something here you want to drink. I ordered a burger and a salad, and the burger was absolutely outstanding, maybe even one of the best I’ve ever had. Prices weren’t too bad -- approx. $6/pint for most selections. Pretty attentive and polite service, and even though there is no dedicated parking, it’s close enough to a residential area to make it a snap. I very highly recommend this place! |
60 Busy place. Noisy and crowded on a Friday evening. Sports TVs everywhere, with the sound turned down. 32 taps, a lot of them Midwestern brews (Bell’s, Founder’s, Surly, Central Waters). Some ciders and imports. The beer list won’t impress beer geeks at all. Variety of sandwiches, pizzas, salads. We had mussels, which were just okay. Service was rushed -- in her hurry to serve and later take away plates, the unsmiling server twice spilled stuff on our table, nearly missing us and my rating notebook.... I don’t think I’ll go there again. |
80 Busters has reopened and is every bit as great as it was before the fateful fire. Excellent if unspectacular tap list. Scratch cooking from the kitchen here offering up bar classics with a gourmet angle. All this in a friendly, no pretense environment. Great little place. |
78 Definitely a place to stop by in Minneapolis. Nice atmosphere, good service, decent list (though not as extensive as Happy Gnome). |
86 Lots of excellent taps, and a great flight sampler at a great price. Lots of good current stuff and decent pub grub to boot. I will visit here again. |
