82 Found by chance while shopping at the Whole Foods next door. Quite a large selection of cans and bottles from Massachusetts, as well as other states, and they let you break the six-packs. Very satisfied. |
68 Visited a few times during EBF week-end.
Ambiance: Perfect location for those who stay at Best Western like we were. Between the hotel and an Whole Foods Market. Very large store with a small/medium section for craft beer. Service: Didn’t notice any guy on the floor except the cashier. Selection: Fairly good selection including interesting out of town breweries such as Firestone Walker and Avery. Freshness was an issue on a few hoppy bottles though. Food: n/a Value: Price were a bit high, but not out of line for Boston. Still reasonable. Overall: Not worth a detour, but definitely a place to visit if you are staying at Best Western Tria or stopping at the Whole Foods Market.who |
72 Nice little store right next to our hotel. Nice selection, found some fresh IPAs, some nice allagash beers large fridge with lots of fresh stuff. Prices were decent. |
84 Entre un Whole foods et notre hotel....Juste pour ça j’aurais pu donner une note parfaite. Des Uncle Jacob’s et Allagash Tierna étaient encore sur les tablettes, quoi dire de plus. |
58 Our hotel was right next to this place so we stopped in to grab a few drinks for the room. Nothing particularly fancy about this store but the selection is okay; lots of Stone, Sierra Nevada, Maine Beer Co., and Pretty Things on the shelves with an even mix of singles and 6/12 packs. I ended up buying a King Titus Porter and Torpedo Extra IPA while my girlfriend snagged a bottle of sauvignon blanc. Service was non-existent as I didn’t see anyone on the floor and an expressionless cashier rung us through without saying a peep. Prices are average. Worth visiting in a pinch or if you happen to be staying in the neighbourhood, but I’m sure there’s much better craft beer stores in the Boston/Cambridge area. |
62 on wine, they jack up the price, then put the bottles on sale. like every wine in the whole fucken place is on sale. small warehouse feel. beer selection is okay. no reason to go out of your way to get here, but if you are in the area it will do the trick. okay. |
