80 A large brewpub with somewhat cramped bar seating but with a to-go counter and ample traditional restaurant seating. They offer flights of either their core beers or their seasonal offerings, 6 beers in a flight. I had the Brussels Sprouts appetizer which had Kung Pao seasoning and pork belly - it was very good. The beers were all solid and the service really good. |
70 Good place fro some simple pub grub and decent beer while in Bend. Some hunting lodge vibe, but more sports bar. Outside of the busy downtown area with dedicated parking to boot. |

78 A 2-story gastropub that can handle groups of visitors. At least 12 house-brewed beers on tap, covering a range of styles but favoring IPA. Excellent service at the bar. Trout dinner was excellent, |
68 Visited on 23/05/13 around 10pm, on the edge of town but over the road from the Marriott we were stopping in.
As others have touched in and from the picture you can see - it is indeed lodge like !
The place wasn’t too busy for a Thursday night, finding a table was easy and service was good. We just hit the bar and the guy knew his stuff.
Great vfm here, 6 x 6oz sample just $7 !!!
All house beers, no world beaters, one or two medicore, most OK.
If you’re on a time constrained visit to Bend then maybe give it a miss but if you want to tick your limbs to ragged ficking stumps for a good price then why not!!! |
60 Looking like a large ski lodge, this rustic brewpub is a bit large and touristy for my taste. Everything was just average along with the service and food. Bend is full of great places to go, this one doesn’t have enough to stand out. |
62 Nice looking lodge which is somewhat confusing to get in to due to the roundabout out front. Once inside, the interior is moderately decorated for a lodge. Sign said "Wait to be seated", but no one seated us so we just sat at the bar. The bar was small and cozy. The bartender was nice. The whole place seemed a little cramped because of the fireplace in the middle of the room. We ordered BBQ sliders which were just ok. The beer on the other hand was very good and it was all an excellent price. I’d like to visit again and see what else is on the menu. |
72 nice big place. beer was okay, not bad, not great. food was pretty good. |
62 A plus for ambiance because the Ghana v. Uruguay game was on everywhere, a mark against for so many TVs. The service was good because it was right after they opened. The taster tray only included their regular taps, nothing seasonal, boo. The food was okay for being prefrozen and smooshed and mediocre, but for $8 oi. Overall its okay if you find yourself there but I would not choose to go again. |
