Cerveceria Escollo

Nice place yet the beers they brew are rather average.

Fine to visit and interesting in stock but quite pricey. Must visit if you want more different beers than the other bars.

I love this place, the fact that it is near Graciela and La Nacional but with extremely delicious Oaxaca style food makes it win. The home beers are good, I used to love the stout but they stopped doing it with the same gusy so now I love the Double Ipa, very creamy and nice taste. The food is AWESOME! Not very crouded (thats what I love about it), huge selection of mezcal.

Pretty nice little spot, and better than the nearby Graciela de Taller in terms of quality beers (though not necessarily in ambiance.) Open bar with a few sidewalk seats. Not a huge amount of character, and not super busy early on a Saturday night when I was there. Friendly, attentive staff who know a little about beer. Seems like they have improved since last year’s ratings, as there were around 8 beers on tap when I was here Most of them were at least good showings for style except for their dark beers, which had some fermentation issues. They also had around 15-20 bottles available, from their own stuff to other Mexican craft titles. They do flights of 8 for 100 pesos.

A thin beer list by DF standards. The three house beers were alright, with the IPA being the clear winner. A rather dull and disappointing place overall.

Only a house beer or two, but proximity to other solid drinking establishments (Nacional, etc), plus some Mexican craft beer in bottles makes up for that.

Good brewpub, their botlle selection is small, their prices are a bitt high, but they have 8 beers on tap almost every day, they have some ok beers from the house like the "La Fabrica Pale Ale", or "Kimura Barley wine", and beers from some mexican craft breweries, good service, ok ambient, slightly good bar.
