A stone's throw from Chix Beach, this place looks like it might've been an old garage or something, allowing for some great open-air beer sipping on a sunny day. They have a gargantuan tap list, heavily tilted toward big, double IPAs during our visit. All 4 beers we tried were excellent, staff was friendly. Will go back for sure. Brewery #915.

In an old firehouse, a great ambiance, very loud. A great selection of excellent beers with a knowledgeable and helpful staff. As a brewery they are not allowed to have food but there is a food truck. Parking is valet parking.

Taproom with equipment visible behind the glass. Lots of wood. Flights of six available. Dozen or so own beers. Lots of IPAs. Beer are average or even a bit above average. One of the few taprooms on Virginia Beach/Norfolk area which is open on Monday.

Very busy spot. Parking is only valet. Wide list of beers. BA Sours were their forte, very, very nice. IPAs- hit and miss. Prices on higher end. Service was OK, nothing to rave about.

Awesome brewery, both in vibe and in the quality of the beer they do. Came here on an afternoon after going to the beach. Beers were excellent all around, whether hoppy eastern style IPAs or Belgian styles. Had pit beef from a Baltimore food truck that was good, but didn’t rate food since it wasn’t brewery’s. Picnic table seating. Good, friendly service. They do flights of everything. Nice stuff. I also spilled beer from the flight holder like bytemesis.

Really nice space, standalone. Lots of parking along the sides and in back, but really full when we were there, despite the actual place not being crowded. Rollup doors in front, tables inside along with a bar. Loads of outdoor seating at long wooden picnic tables. Food trucks available. Lots of taps - 14 running when we were there. Plenty of style variety, although nothing sour or BA. Beers ranged from the low end of average to really good. Likely still dialing things in, but nothing was horribly flawed, so presumably they will keep improving as they dial things in. Very dog friendly; dogs everywhere actually; inside, outside, tied up, loose, you name it. Friendly service, happy to guide you through the selection or let you make you own choices. Tasters available - six pours for what seems to be the Virginia norm of $3+ per. Why the hell is it so uniformly expensive here? The flight holder is kind of an interesting design, carved from wood, aesthetically pleasing until you realize while carrying it that there is nothing but your dexterity preventing the stemmed glasses from just sliding out the front of the slots they are in. Fortunately avoided that on the rather long walk to an open outdoor table, but did spill some beer while (over) compensating. On an (un)related note, I just read that Ancient Greeks valued small pensis over large. Explains the sculptures and makes me which I had been born in Ancient Greece. :)

Brand new place, so still working out the kinks. In a re-purposed firehouse, so the vibe was pretty cool; plenty of indoor seating at large tables, and a big open patio. Service was good, really excited about the beer, but a little towards the surfer bro vibe. Plenty of house beers to try, and all were fairly solid, nothing amazing, but nothing horrible. If you’re in the area, worth a stop, one of the better ones on the beach; and I’m sure once Green Flash opens plenty of people will be making the pilgrimage.
