62 The Wetherspoon place in Bury St Edmunds has a very central location, right in the middle of the town in a huge, grand I listed building from the 1860s. The design of the old Corn Exchange has been well kept, including monuments and the grand entrance door. The building in itself is worth a visit. Otherwise it is ordinary spoons with 12 hand-pulled cask ales and a decent, cheap, traditional breakfast. Our first stop on day crawl in Bury St Edmunds. (Visited with Finn 12.11.2021). |
