68 A restaurant with 12 taps of imports and Japanese beers. A rather small place with a building site feel to it. The bar is constructed of grey breeze blocks! Helpful staff. Good food. Recommended but not if you are searching for Japanese beers. There are better options in that case. 300 Yen cover charge. |
68 Typical classy Japanese craft bar and restaurant in most respects. Seems to attract a crowd serious about their beers. Good range (say ~14 taps) that covers all bases. Pricing on the high side and of course a bloody cover charge did some damage to the wallet. in fact the cost might deter me from going again (this factor rarely irritates me). |
58 Convenient location to get a brew near Namba station. 11 taps, mix of foreign and domestic beers and styles. Usually a few rare sours, but you'll have to pay extra. Prices have changed a few times but about ¥1200 a pint. There is a table charge, so don't pop in for just one. Food is pretty good. Great crapper. |

92 The manager of this beer bar is a former manager at "dig beer baR" in Osaka which was closed in the end of 2016 for opening this place by standing on his own feet from "Kishoku Manmendo group" which run "eni-bru" and "The 2nd Vine" also located in Osaka. So, you can definitely trust his experience and knowledge about craft beer for sure. They always have at least 1 tap of sour, and this could be a great refreshment while drinking hoppy ones. The dishes are well presented in colors and tastes. It would be nice if they would have any staff who is fluent in English, but they are good enough for communicating in it. Just few blocks away from Namba station. |

72 Another modernist beer bar with concrete and exposed piping. Looks nice enough, though. Taps are mixed between J craft and imports, a few of which I had not seen before. Good food, rather interesting. Prices are a bit high for J craft in Osaka, taking the table charge into account. Good option in the Namba area, which doesn’t have much else to choose from, and also close enough to walk to Kamikaze and places to the NW. |
54 11 taps on but 12 on the wall. The place is bare concrete and seems very much in the Japamese vein so figure on being ignored till they can deal with you (at least that’s how it was on opening day). I felt it was unfriendly and like I was more at a private launch than a real opening day, I don’t mind being told to stand but with two empty seats at the bar the whole time waiting for someone (a VIP) it felt odd. Taps were a mix of dull (Edelpils) and rarely seen in Japan (Cascade Blackscap). With prices 750-850 a small and 1080 a large/regular. Friendly and welcoming it was not though it is in Namba among all the love hotels so is in a bit of a beer desert which is a plus. I felt it was a tad small but have been informed it is a bit bigger than Boku to Inu. End Result of all this I was not a fan though if I am ever in the area a few months from now when it is open I may give them another shot. |
