56 Least fun place ever to drink but decent selection. Good for a power lunch. That is all. |
72 A new and modern bar/restaurant. Mainly an outdoor area which seats around 50. The indoor area is much smaller. They have 30 taps of mainly locally brewed beers but a fair few imported beers too. Friendly staff but limited English. Probably not a place you will want to go to unless you are working in the area and there are plenty of these restaurants dotted around the city anyway. |
68 Typical stuff, except smaller than usual. Understaffed, poorly organized, not as cheap as it first appears, but a lot of beers to try. Tiring of this model. Going in the afternoon is the point to these places. |
84 So I went here first on a Kanda beer night as it's only 10/15 or so minute walk from the Kanda highlights. This is not easy to find because it's on the ground floor of a bunch of high rise city buildings, but is located in an avenue/courtyard or cafes and restaurants down the centre of one building. Has central square bar and table seating interior and outdoor cafe space. Lots of taps. On the night I was there it was a Fuijizakura tap takeover so loads of great stuff. Service friendly and attentive. Great for Japanese beers and some decent imports too. Prices some of the most competitive in Tokyo. |
70 Another day, another Craft Beer Market. In a big business area again, was pretty busy at lunchtime. Nice patio. Food theme is Mexican. Everything else is pretty much the same. Usual pricing and usual beer selection. Usual score. |
