Cool little hole in the way brewpub with friendly vibe and pretty good beer. We got a couple of flights here, and most beers were above average with a couple of real stand outs. Within walking distance of a few other small brewpubs.

Stop #4 during our W&OD bike and beer tour. Definitely a hole in the wall. 5 beers on tap. Would not have sought this place out if it wasn’t easily accessible from the trail - did have 2 pretty decent beers on tap at the time. Lower rating skewed due to the ambiance and only 5 beers on tap ...

A hole in the wall with soul. Seating for maybe 20 inside in a pinch with a few more patio seats. Nice location in downtown Leesburg. Beer was above average but only four on draft.

Tiny little place with good service and ok beers. Ample parking around the area, and the pizza place in the accompanying plaza is decent. Only really worth a stop if already in the area.

Small tasting room in Leesburg. Bar area with about 10 seats and two or three tables. Friendly service. 5 house beers on tap, all about average. Growler fills available. Wouldn’t go out of my way to return but okay stop if you’re in the area.

Lee and Jake eagerly greeted us as we entered near closing hours on a Sunday, though they promised not to kick us out. They were a chatty bunch, eager to tell us about their beers and keep cold ones in our hands. There were four beers on tap, several fermenting and one boiling. This is located next to a half of a dozen other craft beer bars/restaurants and is definitely worth a stop.

A small hole in the wall which I truly loved. This place is all about the beer and not so much the decor on the walls. There are two benches and small bar. The night we went they had four beers on tap with a huge amount of small batches brewing next to the bar. I think its great that you can get up and close to the brewing process. The beers here are very unique and while I didn’t like all of them, I love trying new and different stuff which Jake is great at coming up with. The flight was a little expensive but again, the creativity in the beers I think makes up for the steep 4-beer sampler. The pints are also rather expensive but again, right price for what you get. No food but there are plenty of places around to grab some food before bellying up to the bar for a pint or two. On nice days you can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather with some creative nano brews.

I had a bit of a tiff with this place because I stopped by twice when they website said they were open and they were not. Finally made it when they were open. Around 9PM on a Thursday and I was the only one there most of the time. The owner / brewer was there and we had a great conversation. 4 beers on tap and they were all solid, with a dark tripel as a standout. Sampler was $10 and I’m not sure how much full pours run. Small place but much bigger than it looks like from the outside, with a small bar and two picnic tables. Comfortable vibe if maybe a little stuffy. Located near three more beer stops so not coming here if you’re in Leesburg makes no sense. Plenty of parking. Worthy stop.

Small nano brewery in downtown Leesburg. Across the street from MacDowell Brew Kitchen / Mud Hound Brewing Company and around the corner from Fire Works Pizza. Very small, but on nice days, the patio was opened. Place was almost empty when I went in November on a Sunday, but on a nice Saturday, the patio is full and the inside comes and goes. They seem to usually have no more than 4 beers on tap. Sampler is pretty reasonable and pints are provided too. Beer ranges from okay to pretty good.

Great little nanobrewery right in the heart of Leesburg. The owner, Jake, is very knowledgeable and helpful, and always willing to chat with customers. While his beers are really good, the constantly rotating selection and tendency to run out of some of his stock can get a bit annoying. Still, a great place to grab a pint or two.
