72 We came here on 29.11.2021. Small Mexican brewpub. 10 beers on tap, a few lager styles and some pale ales. Liked all their beers (Christmas Punch Ale was my favorite) and staff was super nice. They did not charge us for a Sangria we did not like (too sweet). |
82 Visited in the afternoon. Medium sized place with patio outside. Was packed during my visit so I've barely managed to find a place at the bar. Very vibrant and lively atmosphere. Good selection of Cruz Blanca beers. The imperial stout I had was delicious. Kind service. Would like to come back someday. |
88 Great beers with great Mexican food, with a modern twist. All sours where top notch, great Tacos, good friendly service. As others, price are a bit high, no samplers available but half pours possible, for 3 to 4$ for 4 generous ounces. A must in Chicago. |
80 A pretty trendy feel inside that had some picnic style seating on the main floor and an additional space up stairs. Service was good and they seemed to know the beers. They had 12 of their own taps on and a few bottles, half pints available. Food was good but not great. Prices were a touch high, but Chicago. A cool spot I hope to revisit. |
74 It is a bit hipster cliche of a vibe, with lots of young people getting drunk on margaritas on Sunday Funday when I went, but it is mostly a taco bar with a brewery in the back as a mild after thought. Service was decent, I believe I spied a Cicerone patch on someone’s hat. They brew a lot of different beers, some decent, some not. Food was really good, but a bit overpriced. Worth a stop if you’re in the area. |
70 Been here a couple times. HAd food once, it is decent but pricey. Beer can be good, can be bad, they brew a lot of styles no one could give a fuck about like imperial browns and rocket-fuel tripels. The service is really good ehre, everything is available in half pours, but woudl prefer flights. |
70 Surprised by the average reviews here as I was impressed on both food and beer. I wouldn’t come here for dinner but for lunch or a quick snack its an easy choice. Chorizo tacos were out of this world. The chorizo was perfectly sweet then balanced with the heat from the chili. The beers were really nice and pair well with food. I wasn’t expecting much and was surprised. I’ll be back. |
