Visited in February, 2017. Pig Pounder Brewery has some contacts with this place because Pig Pounder flights were available here. Also some casual beers from other breweries available. Main point of this place is food which was excellents. Amazing ribs.

Big dedicated parking right in front. Service was good. Draft beer selection was mostly locals and bottled beer selection was limited. Prices were pretty good. The food is worth going for, I had the pulled pork sandwich.

Awesome food and a huge beer selection. The only negative was ordering a flight and having to guess which brews they were.

Sorry....My opinion is that chains should not exist. If you want a more authentic place to go and dont want to encourage the existence of a nasty chain, try Hops Burger Bar. And no, I don’t work there....just love it and it deserves a higher ranking than Darryls hands down.

Great place to sit down and eat or just stop in for a beer. They always have something good on tap and its constantly rotating. Inside the decoration is one of the best in the greater triad area with converted rides making up a booth for seating as well as jail cells and other interesting features. Very nicely done. The service is up and down. Food selection is good and there is something for everyone. Not the cheapest place to eat but definitely one of the best. Highly recommended.

I had a strange sense of deja vu when I entered this place. It looked exactly like the Darryl’s in my hometown but I thought the chain had gone out of business. Apparently this is the last store left in the chain. Two years ago new ownership spent 2 million to modernize the decor, freshen up the menu, and add craft beer and some real expensive ass wine to menu. (I’m talking Chateau Lafitte Rothschild expensive) but the decor is all Darryl’s. it’s a two story Brick building with all kinds of whimsical touches like an elevator and a Ferris wheel seat turned int dining tables with 2nd floor views. The food is much better than I remember it. Apparently everything is prepared using fresh Ingrediants which makes all the difference. The beer list is also solid though I wish they had more local offerings. Still it puts the beer offerings of most of their competitors to shame. T was good meal and a fun night reliving my childhood.

Originally reviewed: 1/19/11. Stopped in for lunch after checking out their website and seeing a decent tap list listed. Nice fireplace outside greets you as you walk in. The place was packed out at lunchtime, but the bar area was surprisingly vacant. I sat at the bar. The inside of the place is pretty cool-looking. I like the decor and setup. It’s a double-decker, which is also a nice feature. The bartendress was helpful and friendly. We talked beer some. She knew more than some, which was nice. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak with fries. Everything was excellent, but the fries were sparse. Could stand to throw a few more of those on the plate. Their tap list was pretty decent. Lots of locals represented: Lone Rider, Big Boss, Duck-Rabbit, Highland, Foothills, etc. Also carried some from New Belgium, Starr Hill and some others. Had a good bottle selection, but I didn’t catch many of them. All I know is they had some Stone, so that sits well with me. All-in-all, this is a cool place and nice addition to the ever-growing beer scene of GSO.

Great draught selection and on my last visit they had added a new high end beer menu that had some excellent brews listed on it.

One of the top beer selections in Greensboro. Great for business travel or after work drinks. They do beer tastings as well on a monthly basis. Definitely worth a look.
