80 Visited on a friday evening. Fairly large place, good crowded atmosphere. A bit loud, but not too much. We sat at the bar and started with a nice seasonal Golden and some nice pizzas. Nice beer menu of Deschutes classics, seasonals and some specials (Abyss Scotch was available). Flights are also an option. Friendly bartender inquired about our travel plans and offered some suggestions. We enjoyed our evening at Deschutes in Bend. |
74 Neat to do a tour of such a large brewery. Had a decent selection of merch and bottles. |
72 Free beer! What’s not to like. Four samples just for walking in the door. Mostly featuring their flagship beers, with a few small batch beers, and two nitro taps. Tons of merch and selection t bottles from the cellar as well. |

88 Beautiful brewery with a cool little tasting room/gift shop. Free samples with a free tour, also beer to buy and take home. Definitely worth a stop to check out one of the top 10 biggest craft brewers in the country. People were fantastic and very knowledgeable. |
84 Cool tap and swag room at the brewery, which is really a beautiful place. You get a little card with room for 4 stamps for four taster pours. Wide variety of their beer to select from, including some pours from their barrel aged stuff. |
80 Taproom integrated to a big gift shop. You can get 4 samples free. It’s not a place you want to spend time but absolutely worth visiting. It’s easy to find and there’s parking space in front of the building. |
92 This is the only brewery I’ve ever take a tour of twice (though it was 10-12 years apart). Start and finish in the tasting room (free samples with free tour)! Gift shop has lots of swag, and the Mountain Room (upstairs) hosts special events. |
