Review based on experience with online shop. Not that big, but nice selection of beers. I especially ordered because they had a good selection of Haagsche Broeder beers, which are hard to get outside Den Haag. Prices are ok, service was good. Delivery was fast. Sturdy packaging.

Great beer shop just outside the centre of The Hague. They tend to have a good selection of beers not focussing on the Belgian classics but just on Dutch craftbeers with also a lot of Baltic beers, and some from other places. You can always find Haagsche Broeders, Nevel, Uiltje here which are among the best of The Netherlands.

Small shop just outside the centre. Not filled to the brim, but with a careful selection of quality beers. Good prices, bit cheaper than usual. Nice knowledgable people. Good place to buy good beer.

Just what The Hague needed. A proper beer shop :-) Great selection of mainly Dutch beers from all the best breweries, big and small. A few imports too. Super friendly and knowledgeable owner. Very reasonable prices. Shame I don’t live here anymore.

A cosy small beer shop pretty close to Grote Markt. The selection is good and there is some variety - the store is not filled to the brim with beer from all over the world, but presents a good selection of quality beer instead.

I prefer looking for beers in a room filled to the brim with beers. but this minimalistic approach is absolutely usable (one bottle on the shelf, the rest in fridges). Very friendly service, acceptable price tags. Many beers you won’t find easily in other stores. I’ll be back.

A small bottle shop close to the Hague center, with a minimalistic design, surprisingly easy to browse - with just one item of its kind displayed on the shelves, the rest of the items being located in the fridges at the back of the shop.
Very friendly and helpful staff (which, I assume, is also the owner), nice selection of both local and foreign craft beer, with the focus being on rare and unusual beers/breweries and small, revolving stock.

An update after a few visit - the stock does change quite frequently (with about 5-10 new beers each week) and they even get high quality US beers once in a while (like Even More Jesus, Imperial Biscotti Break, beers from Prairie etc.(

Dorst is a new beer shop located on Boekhorststraat, I am not that familiar with the layout of Den Haag but it seemed to be fairly centrally located and only a short walk from Bierspeciaalcafe De Paas. It stands opposite an old looking café called Café Koos.

Its very bright, simply furnished and totally uncluttered. Some shelving on the left and right hand sides display some of the beers on offer thought most of them were in neat little flush fridges, as in flush with the wall, these were at the rear of the store. Jamie the owner was so friendly, enthusiastic and chatty, we must have spent 20mins chatting with him about the store, he was keen on feedback but also clear on his vision for this new enterprise.

The beers are displayed by style in the fridges, so for example moving from left to right from the fridge nearest the serving counter on the LH side you had Pilsners, Saisons, then APAs, IPA’s, DIPAs then onto Triples before Stouts, Impy Stout, Porter etc in the last fridge, it all seemed very logical and well thought through to me. For the size of the store it was a modest but well thought through selection with Jamie keen to seek out and bring in new stuff all the while. I was struck by his passion and also knowledge of each of the beers, it really felt to me that each of these beers were here on merit and he had researched and knew the back story of them all. I picked up about 5 beers all new to me and at least three of these were following Jamie providing me with the background to the beer and brewery.

I really liked this place, I liked the opening hours, but equally just as much I liked the owner who deserves to succeed. When next in Den Haag I will certainly pop in as I don’t doubt for one minute that the selection will be quite different to what I saw on this occasion.
