66 Great beers - my picks (apart from the seasonal/annual bipa) are the Vienna lager and English special bitter. Food is quite expensive, but of exceptional quality. Flies were out of control, not much you can do about that though. |
94 One of, if not, the best places in WA to head to for a beer. Amazing view, great beers (always a decent range too) and fantastic food. There isn’t a brewery which comes close in my opinion |
90 Lovely local brewery in eagle bay, with great view of the ocean. Good beers with at least one "brewer series" as an option. Food is pretty good as well, can get very busy |
90 Stopped here for a shit. That Colonel Stuart prick pokes his fuckin’ mug over the cubicle wall waving his little piss-ant revolver. You fucking alright mate? Walked out wearing the porcelain sink and seeing more stars than a pissed Jew at a Bar Mitzvah. |
96 Not sure there is a better place in Australia. This place is purely amazing. Staff are fantastic. Amazing beer coming out from these guys including some great single batches and collabs. Some great wine. A nice open feel leading to an amazing atmosphere. I always dig being able to see through a window into the actual brewery setup. Food is damn good (ribs to die for) and you come away thinking value for money. A must go to brewery |
90 If I could camp here for the rest of my life, I would. Amazing backdrop to some of the best beers coming out of WA. Food is killer, far superior than the typical pub food you get in Perth. Staff are super friendly and love a good chinwag, definitely worth a checkout! |
80 A little confusing even finding this place deep in the heart of Eagle Bay a few kilometre’s from Dunsborough. No signposts means driving blind until a small sign on the edge of an embankment leads way to the massive, modern looking complex. Parking at the rear sees entry through a tight foyer to the open air and rolling landscape that flows from the building. Kitchen there, cellar there, brewery there, bar right there, everything is accessible and well planned out to give that feel of openness. The food is fantastic, but they have kept it simple and smart. The wine produced here is exceptional from grapes grown on the property. But mostly the beer here is well made, wonderfully crafted and aimed at pleasing the constantly changing faces of the tourists that flock this part. A genuinely ambient place to watch the sun cross the earth and fade out over the trees. Relaxing! |
