El Nido @ the Other Place

I heard that it's not bad. I haven't been to try it some other day. It's also an interesting thing to punch in various brewery stores. I hope there will be a good experience. I also hope that China's brewery will develop better and better.

Real casual place with friendly owner and pretty solid, self-service beer fridge. Come for the whisky (and whiskey) and absinthe selection as much as for the beer--they have good stuff. Great hangout, though small and can get very crowded late. Minor snacks--eat elsewhere. After Great Leap, it’s probably the best beer destination in Beijing.

Expat hangout on popular Fangjia Hutong. They probably have the best bottle selection in Beijing. No taps. The owner doesn’t speak much English, but is friendly and keen on beer. Good selection of single malt and of absinthe, too. There isn’t much food here, but the area has lots of restaurants and street food. Gets crowded late, but if you go early (opens around 4pm) you’ll have the place to yourself.
