Eppig Brewing

I was very impressed by this brewery in North Park. The tasting room is spacious and comfortable with indoor and outdoor seating. Service was great. The beer list spanned many selections that I was very interested in from rauchbier to west coast IPA to Baltic porter, etc. Everything that I drank was very well made with attention to detail.

Located in North Park, this brewery sports an attractive low-key bar with 17 taps dispensing a nice variety of brews. Friendly service and a mellow ambience.

Shared building with another (soon to be 2 other) breweries. Flights available. All kinds of cool sounding beers, but they were all just ok (tried 8). Next door (Pariah) had a similar vibe and better beer.

A small spot sharing a roof with two other breweries, and across the street from Tiger!Tiger! The beers are good and service too. A few tables and a small bar provide limited seating. Worth a visit for sure.

Little local quaint spot in a building with 3 other breweries. Service was pleasant and fairly good amount of beers to tick. Flights and prices were good. Beer was decent, the best of the 3.

Visited during RBWG 2017. Small place, in a row of three or four places that mostly looked alike. Small serving bar and some tables, one TV tuned to tennis. Decent variety of beer styles, tasty enough with a few outstanding. Flights of four or five, I can't remember which. Friendly service. Decent stop.

One of three breweries under one roof. Sort of a cool concept, though I'm not sure how many more breweries/beer places North Park really needs. The space itself is small, but there's a decent amount of seating. Probably can't ever get much of a crowd in here.

They had the typical hoppy offerings that everywhere in San Diego does, but I liked that there were some German styles on the board, too. Stuff like Kellerbier, Schwarzbier, and Gose to go with your Double IPA. Most of the stuff we tried was good, though the session IPA was buttery.

The brewer was also working the bar and was a friendly dude. He has actual pro experience, so that should really help them out. Would like to try more from these guys.

Another relatively new brewery in a building that houses three. A small space with a few tables and a small bar that shows some of the awards the brewery has garnered. A very friendly bartender was happy to chat about the brewery and knew the beer. 12ish beers on tap with samplers available. No food on site. Prices were inline with the area. A nice spot overall.

Visited on a Thursday evening in February 2017. This is a small place and it was quite crowded with a younger crowd. The service was good and they had 15 beers on tap, tasters and flights were available.

Had just opened a few days before we where there. Small tasting room with 6 beers available. Friendly staff that told us about the brewery history.
