Fabrica Cerveza Moritz

A very mondernistic brewery-bar in the center of Barcelona. It offers the standard Moritz beers you also get i cans in supermarkets plus some special and seasonal beers -all an tap. The traditional spanisch Tapas are great and the beer ist good -not extraordinary, but very drinkable The toilet is the big adventure of the restaurant (in a positive sense): it is downstairs in the cellar (elevator available) where you see the brewing tanks behind plexi glass and the open concrete fountations of the building -wih the soft light, this makes a wonderfull walk to the highly modern and clean restrooms. Prices are ok and fair and you can order beers in glasses from 0,2 to 1 liter

Gelegen vlak bij de belangrijkste bierplaatsen in BCN. Het is zeer modern, industrieel ingericht en vrij kaal maar ondanks toch gezellige bar. De tafeltjes staan dicht bij elkaar. Achteraan heb je uitzicht op de ketels van de brouwerij. Vooraan heb je een mooie etalage ter promotie van hun nieuwe bier. Ik vind het knap hoe ze het modern gemixt hebben met het authentieke van het "oude" gebouw waar het in is gelegen. De keuze is echter beperkt tot 3 van hun eigen bieren op tap en nog eens een 3 tal andere op fles. De bediening is vriendelijk en behulpzaam ondanks dat ze niet allemaal goede kennis hebben van het Engels. De prijzen zijn oke en we hebben tevens gratis kleine proevertjes gekregen van de bieren op vat.

Big, very big place near Barcelona Beer Company. Moritz is the brand of lager you’ll find as the Industrial lager in BCN, much more than , for instance, San Miguel. This place looks great. much has been done to attract attention, in a very modern, cool way. The beers however, are less great. I counted 6 options as we visited. 3 of which on tap ( even though they have far more lines ! ) of which we were able to get a - free- small sample. In bottles, you have the choice between their ’red IPA’ and a no-alcohol beer ( 33 cl ) or their special beer made with ginger (75 cl ) all of those do not come in tasters, obviously. right next to the bar is the shop, which is done exactly right as well, much attention had been made to the visual aspect, you can be suprise packs, singles, beerbooks ( including some very good ones ), a bottle of their most sold regular lager with every single letter on them, some food, growler fills, ... Overall, it’s what you expect from a big beer company, but done far better. The beers aren’t good though, so as a geek, you might pass on this one

Large brewpub with brewshop just next to it. Didnt have food but it was largely german inspired. 3 taps and 2 bottles. Low prices and friendly service. Citrics, Epidor, Fresca, on draught and 17.14 and red ipa on bottle.

Huge modern bar in an old setting with caverns and multiple floors of seating. Service was a bit haphazard, even figuring where to sit was an issue. No samples or flights, this place looks good but fails to deliver.

Local enorme i molt bonic però massa turístic i massificat pel meu gust. La cervesa està be però hi ha poca varietat. El menjar també està be.

Visited on 26th September 2016. Huge modern looking venue a few mins from Universitat station. Plenty of seating available and a really smart looking venue. 5 beers advertised but one not available. Had already tried 2 of the beers elsewhere so went for the other two. Beer was OK. Service good, prices OK. Wouldn’t make a special trip here but if you’re in the area can bag a couple of scoops.
