Stopped by for a beer at this large and spacious brewpub with a fairly hip industrial/warehouse atmosphere. There was some event going on and the place was packed, so we only stayed for one beer. Tap list looked promising and I would have liked to return at a more quiet moment, but didn't get around to it.

Big open brewery space kept reasonably bare and industrial. Comfortably busy on the Saturday afternoon I visited. Beers generally pretty good, with a great variety of styles by NYC brewery taproom standards. Easy to combine with a bunch of other LIC breweries, so definitely worth a trip out.

This is a must in NYC. Fairly new, this place has a great selection of well made beers, from sours to pastry stouts. Place is large, with dark decor, loads of seating, free wifi, very confie. 3 to 4$ per 4 ounce shorties. Great friendly service. A must.

More beer places are opening in this area, and based on a couple of recent visits, FH is really catching on. They offer mostly their own beers, which are constantly changing and always good. The atmosphere is pretty basic and industrial, with some nice touches, like a blackboard against one wall. The owners, Chris Cuzme and Mary Izett, are fantastic, and have done a lot over the years to share their love and knowledge of brewing culture.

Cool new-ish brewery with a great theme and vibe (had to look up the meaning of 5th hammer when I visited). I first visited shortly after they opened last fall (early October I believe). Looks like it was a small old factory. It's kinds long and somewhat narrow with a front that opens up to the outdoors...weather permitting...sorta cinderblock chic (lol). Four beers were available early on...unfiltered pilsner, dry-hopped golden farmhouse, some called a "transcontinental IPA (so "all American" IPA?), and an American stout. All were very good for an new brewery...been meaning to get back to see how they've (hopefully) grown. Worth a visit for sure.

Nice big place, industrial look, lots of seating at communal benches, games, Toys for kids, a big blackboard etc. Pretty busy at our visit, got lucky and got a table right away. 8 beers on tap with small pours avaible. We ordered them all, and had them arranged by the server around a taplist in the right order. Fine to good quality of the beers. Brewery in the room behind the bar, nice looking and there have clearly been put some money into it. Visited with Trapped on a Thursday night.

Great garage like open space next to the brewery, with communal tables, board games, toys for children, a chalkboard and 10 taps with their beers. Nice place to visit. They have 4 oz pours for sampling.

Warehouse look and feel. Long bar, with not as much seating as they could have, but decent seating. Picnic tables and the like around the rest of the room. Thought the beers were really good quality, which I expected, as Chris has been making good beers around town for a while. Got some cans to go as well, and I enjoyed those at home. Would definitely like the revisit, especially in nice weather with the garage door open.
