68 Visited 16/12/2018. An appealing Irish bar and something of an unexpected find just around the corner from our hotel. Had 5 of their own beers (available in a flight if desired), they were all drinkable but some better than others, plus a few other taps and some bottles. Service was helpful and friendly. Great vibe to the place. Recommended to visit if in the area. |
74 Your standard Irish pub filled with english speakers and dark wood. Their beers aren't bad and they offer a seven-sampler in shot glasses, something I hadn't seen before. Food was just okay, serviceable at best. Worth a stop to try their beers but it also seems to be a reliable standby for the expat crowd. |
78 A truly great pub; their supply of beer is not too great but they’ve certainly got something for everybody plus a few very good house ales.
The service is very good (if a bit slow) and the food is really good too and not particularly expensive.
The best is the ambiance; it really feels a bit like an old-styled pub, there’s Karaoke on weekends and it has a NON-SMOKING area which is VERY RARE in Santiago. |
72 Great ambiance, full of "gringos". Excellent food. Perfect for afterhours with work mates. The food selection is great, with a variety of appetizers.
Beer: good selection od local macros, some imported and an excellent local draft. They often have only one kind of their beer, but a good one. A tried a black, sold as a Stout. Very good, but not exactly what you expect of a stout.
Anyway, a very cozy place in Santiago. |
78 I’d never imagine I could find such a Pub in Santiago... Nice Irish Pub |
66 This is a really nice Irish Pub in Santiago. It’s right in the border of Providencia with Las Condes. Beautiful, typically Irish ambiance, with lots of wood and beautiful old-style decoration with candles, beer posters and ship-like ornamentarions.
The service is very friendly and fast, but they don’t know very well about the beers they have. In fact, they don’t have too many, just some english beers, plus their very own Flannery’s Stout which is very good. Apart from that you can have any chilean macro and a couple of micros here (Kross, Kunstmann).
The Food is Awesome. Excellent Irish cousine and some spanish stuff. I tried the Papas Provenzales and they were absolutely great.
Overall a very fine place to taste some beers and eat great food. Happy Hours before 9 pm. Not expensive at all. I’m definitely going again.
