94 Great little beer shop in the heart of The Hague. They have a small but very eclectic selection of craftbeers (the most "common" beer I saw was Dolle Brouwers Oerbier) and their main attraction is the 3-tap growler station with fresh IPA's and specials from all over the world. Very knowledgeable staff, nice atmosphere and great beers. The prices might be high but seem reasonable to me for the type of beers they offer.
If you visit one beer shop in The Hague, this should be the one (then Dorst, then the Haagsche Broeders shop). |
76 Now open Tuesday to Sunday.
Small place with approx 40 bottled beers and 3 growler taps. Knowledgable & friendly owners. The bottled beers are pricey. The growlers are for members only. You buy a growler membership and then you can fill a 1 litre growler for 10 Euros and a 2 litre growler for 20 Euros. Unique in the Hague and a valuable addition to the beer scene |
68 Very small shop with a limited but well chosen selection. English spoken. 3 ever changing beers for growlers to take away. Certainly not cheap, but still worth a visit. Just 20 steps away from Brody's |
76 Was there 10 min after advertised opening time, place was dark and no one was there yet. Will try again sometime...
Second visit. Very friendly welcome. It’s a very small store, but it looks really good. One shelf of beers, and three growler taps. Beers change rapidly, they advertised some new taps of Facebook and two days later they already had new beers on. They had beers from NL, UK, US and New Zealand, nice mix of stuff but all craft. Prices were high for some beers, very decent for others. Will definately visit this place more often. |
74 Very small cornershop with one wall of beers and three growler taps. You have to become a member of the growler club to get some fresh brew. Basically you’re paying for the bottle. €7 for 1L or €10 for a 2L growler. 1L fills for €10 and 2L for €20. Every 10 fills you get a discount and you’re also on the mailing list for special promotions. You return the growler to the shop and get a new (cleaned) one each time you come.
Bottles from the shelves are a bit pricey, selection changes quite quick. Newer beers I saw included The Kernel and Magic Rock. |
66 It’s a small shop very centrally located with only a small selection of beers and also the growler system that others have mentioned. No point saying any more about the later as it’s been said before. Although the selection is small, it’s supposed to rotate quickly. Sure enough I managed to find a few interesting new beers there. The guy running the place is friendly and knowledgeable. Nice little place that I’ll certainly return to. |
66 Pretty small corner shop with 3 growler taps and a limited (due to the shop’s size) selection of bottles. Quite a few of the bottles are dutch beer, and a bit overpriced, but one can find some Estonian, Danish and even US and NZ craft beer. The main attraction is the growler offer, with 3 rotating taps (changing every 3 weeks, or so, as the owner said) - you buy a growler/membership and then it’s 10 euros / 1L of beer. They are not very punctual with their opening hours, though. |
