Good spot to collect some of the regional beers. Large selection. Easy to reach.

If you look for local beers this is a must very good prices too!

Fristo Getränkemarkt is neighbour to Edeka Döring, convenient, especially when by car, then You may use same backyard for parking (remember car park disc visible in windscreen). Typical german Getränkemarkt, and Fristo is respresented in many german cities. Bamberg beers are well displayed. Price level is nice. Friendly staff. Worth a visit, or two.

Typical Getränkemarkt. Most of the beers where leaning towards old school or industrial. Very nice prices with most beers around 1 euro. Looks a bit like a Lidl store. The staff was friendly though and ran to the storage to get some cases for the beers, even asked if we wanted a particular brewery.

We were there at our visit in Bamberg, very early in the morning. This one is a typical Getränkemarkt, and I doubt thhat the selection will change a lot regulary. But for a one and only visit when you are the first time around, this one is perfect for finding new beers from the area and also of Bamberg. They had a big selection of the Fässla beers availabe there. Prices were very moderate, each botte underneath 1 Euro. Would come back for picking up the bottles I left at the first visit.
