Gneiss Brewing Company

This is definitely out in rural Maine. You need to take a few winding back roads to find this place, which is located in a modest building on a wooded lot with a dirt driveway. The barrels are right there in the tasting room. Or you can sit outside on a picnic table. You can get a flight of five for $9 plus tax. They bottle some of their beer. There are growlers in 64 oz. and 32 oz. The owner/brewer will be happy to talk about his beer. I enjoyed my visit.
