There is a reasonable selection of local beers on sale but this is predominantly a wine shop. Amusingly, it’s almost directly opposite Brewers Droop, another bottleshop and homebrew supply shop

Helpful staff member albeit not a particularly knowledgeable one as far as beer goes, but then again, beer is not the speciality of the store (as the name may suggest). Good range from local progressive brewers - Arbor, BBF, Wild Beer - and not very much else. A handful of Brewdog and one or two random internationals.

Recently opened wine merchants which does a growing sideline in bottled ales and ciders. Offers a wide range of Arbor (about 12 on my list visit), Bristol Beer Factory and Box Steam beers, plus ciders from Perrys and Orchard Pig amongst others. Also offers Breton and Norman ciders, plus the La Choulette range of French beers. Just across the road from Brewer’s Droop and, with little overlap, both are worth a look especially if you are visiting the city.
