56 The beer café is a part of Greene King's visiting center at the brewery. A bottle and souvenir shop to the right of the entrance and a rather small café to the left. Six beers on cask and six on keg. They do beer flights of three 1/3 pint glasses. Polite service. Opens early and closes late in thee afternoon. (Visited with Finn 12.11.2021). |
58 Combined pub/bottleshop. Good selection of their own beers. |
60 In one corner of several brewery buildings together on the fringe of the centre. This is a pub, shop and the start of the tour, whichever suits! All the beers are naturally from Greene King or their owned breweries and prices are good... but I guess the beer hasn't travelled far. |
70 Set up a brewery tour on Sunday, it was great because they were closed so the 4 of us on the tour had free reign. The guide was great and very informative. We got to try all the beers on tap, several bottles and 1 to go all for £18. They have most of their products for sale in the cafe as well. |
