Harpers Ferry Shenandoah Stout | 6.1% | 11/19/2021 |
64 Visited on a Wednesday afternoon and it was quiet. The big draw here is the outdoor seating high on a bluff overlooking the Potomac River. Otherwise there’s not much to recommend it. The beers were just okay as was the food truck pulled pork. |
74 Harpers Ferry is a unique destination ... historically interesting, naturally beautiful. This brewery snagged an ideal location on the Virginia side of one of the bridges with a stunning outdoor seating area overlooking on of the rivers. The barn-like tasting room is also tastefully appointed.
They had about 10 offerings on tap. Unfortunately we could only have two ... one very good, the other average. Staff was prompt, polite and helpful. Would love to sit out on that lawn and sip some beers again sometime! Brewery #886. |
60 The brewery is in a huge barn-like building at the top of a mountain overlooking the town of Harpers Ferry. The views and the outside seating area is awesome. The beers were average. They sometimes have food trucks, but there was none on the night we visited. They had a couple of dozen taps, but not very many beers. Worth a stop for the view alone, but wish the beer was better. |
