72 HS continues to amaze with their pastry sours. I had some truly wonderful tastes, but the drinkability of them remains an issue. 5oz sure, a can, no way. Had their 3 stouts, the heavy adjunct usage didn't translate as well as their sours, but they did do a better orange stout than GI. Cool design inside. A solid choice if at Garagiste or Magnanimous. |
80 This is my second visit, and this never disappoints. About 10 taps, with a mix of ipas, sours, stouts, to keep it interesting. Cans to go. 2 to 4$ per 4 ounce taster. Good friendly service. Street parking could be an issue at peak times. In walking distance from Garagiste so you can switch to fantastic meads. |
80 Right around corner from meadery. I just grabbed a growler to go I’ve had some nice things from these guys in past. Normal looking brewery tasting room nothing special but nice location. Like 10 drafts or so and a few bottles and cans available to go. Nice bartender fairly quite during brief visit. |
62 Decent amount of taps ... they weren't packed but said they ran out of tasting glasses to do flights ... WTF. I would have rated higher and tried more beers if they would clean some of the empty glasses all over the place. |
82 Visited during the pre TBBW 2018. Nice location in dowtown Tampa. Packed but not to the point of craze like other breweries selling overpriced one-off bottles.
Possible to buy single cans instead of full 4 or 6 packs like in other breweries. Had a sample of their beer before heading to Tpa Guild fest. Art exhibit going on at the same time, not a big fan of the gangsta rap playing inside while I was there.
Fast service given the crowd, would revisit during non-event time. |
88 This is a great taproom, with an outstanding IPA. We discovered this place a few months ago and Hidden Springs has since become a weekly stop for us. The owners/operators are friendly and knowledgeable. They have a great selection of their own beers as well as many from other local brewers. The venue and the surrounding neighborhood are becoming more popular (and revitalized) with events regularly scheduled. You can usually catch one of the many great Tampa food trucks on Friday and Saturday. |
60 Despite the sketchy location, this a really nice place with above average beers. |
72 This place is one/two block over from Ulele. Newer taproom with lots of space. The neighborhood looks to be getting a face lift, but there was still some vagrants sitting on the curb. Was pretty busy on a Friday night and I was tired so I grabbed a growler. Tap selection was pretty strong. Hope to get back here sometime to try some more beers since I was a little disappointed in their Tropic Thunder Floridaweisse. |
