Hitachino Brewing Lab

Cute brewpub in Akihabara. It is pretty small, but there is some outdoor seating and more seating around the corner. They had about 8 of their own taps and then around 10+ bottles including some limited/barrel aged stuff. The tap beers were delicious. They had a small food menu which I didn’t order anything from. An enjoyable spot, pretty good selection - lots of varied styles available.

Very small space, but the location is great. They are usually out of 1-3 taps when I visit here. However, the strong points are the value and location. Mixed nuts are great and addictive too! I love stopping here after work and sitting outside by the river. I haven't tried any of the other food besides the nuts, but it doesn't look that great.

Small venue on 2F east side of station opposite Yanagi-dori (H&M). Didn't spot any guests. Pricey as you would expect for area. One cask beer. PS this is a review of the Tokyo station outlet!! Entered here in error ?

This place is great. Nice views of the water and Akihabara. Had a nice set of taps and 6 or so beers to go. Had something like a crowler station for draft beers. Didn’t try the food. The service was great. I liked it. The outdoor seating is nice. Prices are high, but expected. They do have the annoying pre-set samplers only, but better than no samplers!

Sure the location along the water is great, so that gets bonus points. This is the spot to come and try the Hitachino Nest beers if you haven’t already. A couple of seasonals pouring also. Small place that’s understandably popular given its location.

Small, but rather cozy. Didn’t try the food, but it looked tasty. They had two specials on tap at the time of my visit, the rest was from the core range. Tasting trays are available and staff is friendly, attentive and English speaking. Rather pleasant place even thou they didn’t have too many interesting beers available. Certainly worth a visit if one happens to be in this part of the city.

Disappointing. Only one seasonal tap (sometimes 2 depending on when you go or what they have). Prices were very fair though. Not an essential stop.

Quite small, though there is a terrace out front. selection was very disappointing: just one seasonal and then about 5 of the standard Nest beers, plus an umeshu on tap. No bottles. No rarities. did not eat. An ok place if you haven’t tried Nest’s beers many times already, but I can’t see myself going all that often.

I was very disappointed to discover Hitachino Nest’s Brewing Lab makes zero beers for the public! It is just for people to rent and use the equipment to make their own - huge bummer man. Beautiful location in the Maach Ecute ex-station building with kurt service trying to hurry you along and a classy standing bar type vibe with it being quite popular with gaijin. 9 taps but only 8 on. I liked the outdoor tables though. Great to visit Akihabara then walk here and go 5 minutes further to WIZ.

Nice small place with solid beers (at the time of my visit 9 taps + 1 bottle). Local Lager was fantastic as well as Espresso Stout. All other beers don’t disappoint either. Better enjoyed on small outside patio over the river. Loved local staff - very helpful guys.
