Holiday Beer and Cigar

Decent beer store, nothing more than an ordinary selection of the most common beers.

Stopped by simply because it was the only place on my route that was open late enough for me to stop by.

Kind of a dim place, very small, not much going on for "ambiance," I suppose.

The employees ignored me for about 5 minutes and finally yelled out "Can I help you find something?" without coming over. I said "No, I should be fine," and was ignored again until I came to check out.

The selection is okay... lots of Sweetwater and Yazoo. I picked up a 4-pack of the current Yazoo Brewmaster’s Reserve (Rye Saison) just so I could have something local. Otherwise, nothing special, good, or hard to get.

Average prices. It’s quite strange, however, that EVERY beer on the mix-6 is $1.99 or 6/$9.99, be it reserve beers or Yuengling.

Overall, meh... stop by if it’s the only place open until 11 like I found. It’s very close to the interstate, and if you’re not from the area, you’ll likely find something interesting you haven’t had. Otherwise, skip it.

Small bottle shop. I’d wager that they sell more bud than anything else. But they do have decent selection of local, regional, and seasonal brews micros. They are willing to break a 6-pack for you. They also have a nice selection of singles to ’mix-your-own-6 for $10. As it seems with most of the places around here, the staff is very friendly, but unkowledgable about beer. Definitely not worth a special trip, but a good option if you live in the area and don’t want to go all the way to Nashville. The liquor store next door is not even worth poking your head in, they carry 5 boring beers.
