Order on black Friday 2018. BCBS 2018 release and some other discounted beers. Nice selection, including beers you won't find easily in other shops. Prices of discounts were cheap, compared with other shops. Order was handled very well. Right bottles, good communication, correct handling, on time and packaging was sturdy.

Ordered via the webshop and it got to my doorstep quick. Website is easy to use and they have a nice selection. However, the 2 bottles I started my order with, the ones I really wanted, weren't in there! Ok, a mistake can happen. And that is also the way they dealt with it. Apologies made, received a coupon for the price of the beers I missed plus shipping costs. Ordered again right away, coupon worked, should have my beers in the next 48 hours or so. Assuming this time the order will be correct, I am very pleased with the way they handled the situation.

This rating is for the German site of Hopt. Since both the German and the Dutch version are an alias of 'Saveur Bière' anyway, there is no need to make up another entry. Selection is therefore nearly identical (at all sites), ranging from French and Canadian craft beer, both of which are nearly impossible to get through other channels in Germany, to Dutch, British, Scandinavian and US stuff including some classics. Pretty solid, especially since I find some longtime wants there from time to time. Prices are decent, delivery is very quick and cheap (standard German shipping costs, although they ship from France). One beer of my recent order was broken (packaging is very simple), but that was ressolved immediately and they shipped the beer again. Got a refund for another beer which was past its best before date without any hassle. Communication was in German, although pretty broken, but if they start a German website with their standard e-mails in German, I assume that the customer service speaks German as well.

Great selection of beers. Delivery was a bit slower than was expected, but it was still within a week, so pretty acceptable. Website handles horribly on smartphone/tablet, ordering wouldn’t work so I switched to a pc. I also took the broken bottle insurance just to be sure. There was 1 broken bottle in the box, e-mailed customer service the day after with pictures and haven’t heard anything from them yet. It’s not a problem that it takes a while to figure out a solution, but it does bother me that they haven’t even confirmed my email. It’s almost been a week now. Especially if you offer the insurance as a service it should be pretty basic stuff to handle the customer service part. At least confirm you’re looking into it or something. If this gets fixed soon I’ll probably raise the rating a bit, but right now I’m pretty disappointed. I know I sound like a whiny little princess but I swear I’m a pretty laidback and okay person.

Good and diverse selection including some international stuff not available in other Dutch webshops. Fast shipment and sturdy packaging. Each order builds up credits. A fine addition to the Dutch webshop ’landscape’, will order again.

Dutch site related to Saveur Biere in France. Good selection of harder to find beers, good addition to the regular international stuff we see in the Netherlands. Prices are not low, but thats what you pay for more exclusive beers. Package was convenient. Service was quite quick, including a track & trace number, although that only was sent a couple of days later, the day the package arrived. I dont hope I ever need it, but it is possible to buy some kind of insurance for the order. And you can save for extra credits, which is a favorite Dutch hobby.
