Very small place, tucked away in the Poblacion neighborhood. Maybe 10 seats total. Maybe 8 beers on tap, all brewed upstairs. Holy Smokes is an attached BBQ joint for food. Prices are good, flights available. Product is medium quality, but worth checking out.

Ok, so this might piss some people off, but I am combining House of Joe and Holy Smoke, as if you went to one, you don't really need to go to the other. To be clear, I have never been to House of Joe (Taproom for Joe's Brew's), however, it is directly beside and maybe attached or affiliated with Holy Smoke, which is where I went. This place ROCKS. Totally awesome American style BBQ, with excellent ribs and chicken. The sides, like mac and cheese and coleslaw were decent, but not homeruns like the meat and homemade sauces. About 5 tables inside and three outside. We sat out on the patio on a night evening and really had a great time here. Staff are a bit clueless though. The beer offered is the same as house of Joe's including sampler. Only Joe's brews on tap, BUT there was only 5-6 beers on the menu and all of them could be in the sampler set, but the ones that couldn't be included in samplers (glass or pints only) were not listed. When you get the sampler set delivered from the guy at House of Joes (not by Holy Smoke staff), ask him if there are any other beers available on tap or in bottles that aren't listed and he will tell you. Oddly, he said there was an IPA that was room temperature as it was just for takeout. We told him we wanted to drink it there later on and please cool it down, he was surprised by this astonishing request, but 30 min later when we asked for the beer it was nice and cold and lovely. Beer quality is definitely above average for Manila. I would say a must visit. Only downside to Holy Smoke is the inside of the restaurant has bad ventilation and is VEERRRRY smokey smelling. Also, I found prices were on the high side for food, but not drink.

Nice cozy place. About 20 places to sit and 20 more if you like to stand. There are also some outside places. Expensive but delicious food you can order in the restaurants in the same building and they will serve it bhere. The beer is from Joe's brew and you can get it on the tap or in bottles. They offer a flight - 4 beers for 300 pesos. The beer prize is moderate for a craft beer. 160/260 for 330ml/500ml. If you're in Makati and like craft beer it's worth to taste Joe's beers

A small friendly, quirky looking tasting room in Poblacion which won't seat more than about 10 people. Frequented usually by locals. They have five or six taps of Joe's Brew beer. No guest ales. A cool place to hang out and close to plenty of other places that are worth visiting too. It's easy to miss but the RateBeer map is accurate.

A tiny and cozy little tasting room with a neat steampunk theme. Staff are all family, well educated and very personable. Decent knowledge of beer but still new. They do flights and have wifi. Although the beer isn’t up to snuff yet, I hope it gets as good as the location, because I really enjoyed hanging out here.
