68 Visited August 2019. Flights available. Three floors. Live music. Very busy.
Next one please! |
62 Gets very busy... |
74 Stopped in since nearby The Porter recommended by beersiveknown so that what I got. Traditional inside lots of wood although bar in rough shape. I enjoyed the music choices. Empty despite the massive amount of tourists justboutside doors. Price seemed normal for pint. Service not particularly friendly. Just ok. |
72 Got a flight of beers here and they were mostly decent, with a few above average. Friendly service early on a Saturday, and mostly empty. Prices decent since you can actually get a flight. |
72 Large pub spreading over multiple floors. Lots of wood, classic pub interior, brewery can be seen from the ground floor. Taplist is divided between their beers and some macros, not sure what's up with that. Got a flight of their beers which were average at best (maybe that's the reason for not having other craft beer). I guess it's OK for ticking, don't expect quality. |
70 Visited on a Saturday afternoon. Large place with a large patio, bar and upstairs restaurant area. Beers are pretty good, service is efficient. Good! |
76 First brewpub on my Dublin trip. Old traditional sort of appearance with lots of carved wood, large place on several levels. Long bar downstairs and bar tables, which is where I chose to drink, most people who were eating went upstairs. Eight beers on offer, available as flights of five or all eight, plus pints of course. I chose the five, but server gave me samples of all the rest without my asking. Didn't try to food but portions looked large. Service was very friendly, beers were solid. Nice first stop. |
80 Good pub, had some off their local brews. Like them, also good food. Service is OK, a good place to be. |
