Quick and professional service, limited beer menu. Nice environment.

Visited 05.08.21. In the middle of the Bamberg tourist track. Four local beers on tap and the same in bottles. Efficient service.

Visited just before they were about to close. They were kind enough to let us have some wursts from the place down the road cause everything else was closed for food. Had a decent Fassla Weizla. 4 taps sounds about right. Wouldn't say it's a must visit, but was very handy for a last drink before hotel.

Visited several times in the past with my parents. Traditionel city brauhaus, lots of seatings inside as outside. Traditionel franconian food are served - big portions. Beers are nice. Placed in city center - easy to find. The staff likes to have full tables, so often you share your table with other guests, possible to have a nice talk about beer, Franconia or other stuff.

Located just a few steps from the Schlenkerla, You have to walk just across the street; not the worst selection of franconian beers ( for beginners) is waiting for the guests, the standard food is quite mediocre, but quite O.K. by depressing german standards. Try it, when You are in Bamberg...

12th Sep 2018, mid-afternoon visit. Sat outside with all the other tourists, inside there are a multitude of small rooms in traditional Bavarian style (loads of wood panels and heavy wooden furniture). Beer quality fine but the service was a little wanting. Our bill came to 17:40, so I gave a 20:00 note and said "Achtzehn is gut", my money was whisked away and nothing came back, the waiter swiftly disappearing. My German isn't that bad and Stimmt So wasn't on my lips. However another member of staff had earlier ordered a taxi for an old lady and when it arrived he helped her into it, put on her seatbelt and ensured she was OK; we got the wrong guy serving us. Happy to give a low score!

Just few meters from Dominikaner str., and less crowded. Very good food and service at reasonable prices. 5 beers available- Schlenkerla and St. Georgus. Recommended.

Great upper-Franconian food, reasonable price level, excellent service, language knowledge. Beer range; regional beers of good quality. This restaurant is not new. From its location, it’s a nice spot. No super special beers here though, but why not try a radler
