58 Visited in 2017. If you walk downstairs, you will end up in something that makes the impression of the monastery's former mess hall. Stone-laden decor, far from intimate, didn't like it. The ground level part is a different story. Lots of dark wood, stained glass, not much space but cozy and really well made. The burger was also well made but tiny, so the food is not a bargain here. They had three beers on tap, ranging from undrinkable to very good, so if you're in a hurry, just go for their tmave and move on. |
54 The best about this venue was the decor. Service and beer quality below par but fine... worth a tick but hurry up and move on! After Fabrika it was chalk and cheese... |
66 A nice little spot in the city. |
64 Finding this place was a bit confusing as it’s not immediately obvious that it’s part of the Bratislava Flagship restaurant and the Slovak Pub. It’s a bit touristy, particularly outside on the summer terrace, but a very cheap place to eat dumplings, soup and the like. Steak was the most expensive thing on the menu at €16. There are several rooms upstairs and down and all the tables are decked out in green check tablecloths. The beers were decent.

60 Small restaurant but part of the bigger Flagship restaurant next door. They use the same terrace and during my visit, food could only be ordered on the terrace or inside Flagship restaurant (both of them have the same menu). Looks really nice, old-fashioned and authentic, some randomly chosen craft beer bottles are decorating the walls (but those beers aren't available there). Three house beers are available, classic stuff and nothing outstanding, pours of 0.3 l are offered. Staff was friendly and polite, prices are good. Will come back to try the food of the restaurant because I've heard good things about it. |
60 Right in the centre of town on a pedestrian stop, this is a fun stop. 3 traditional house beers on tap, and the pilsner and dunkel were both top of the line. Very cheap, about €1.50 for a 0.3L pour. Friendly service. Worth a stop. |
74 Nice location and interior. Their pilsener is very good and dark lager is awesome. Food is very good. It's worth visiting. |
64 Visited with Mart. Upstairs is a small serving bar, unmanned when we stopped in, and the upstairs tables were empty. But we heard conversation drifting up from the cellar, and sure enough one of the two rooms there was pretty full. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Small beer choice, but the tmavy was excellent. Didn't try the food. Worth a stop. |
